Frankie Wants A Makeover (Freak du Chic Frankie Stein Review)

Hello Blogmonsters,

Clawdeen here with the weekly blogspot.

Calaminthe and I had a busy week, doing brand new winter outfits for some of my friends and also the rest of the Tapefitty ones, sorting some things, cleaning the house up and many other things Calaminthe wants to do this year.

On Tuesday though, our Frankie Stein decided that she had been rid of her Scaris makeup and hairstyle and so she decided to get something brand new.

She wasn't sure first either to chose her Basic style or something else but then she decided, being inspired by our friend Gooliope Jellingtons circus style, to get something like her.

And here she is, our brand boo
FREAK DU CHIC FRANKIE STEIN!

Here she is still in her box, which I will review as well because it looks a little bit different then Gooliopes box.

Here is the front, showing an artwork of Frankie pulling Twylas dust bunny Dustin out of her top hat which is so cute. On the right site you can see the doll through clear plastic on her background display which is the biggest change to Gooliopes box and will be shown closer later.

Also, on Gooliopes box had been some designs on the platic that looked like Gooliope would try to break through the box and those are not on Frankies box, nor anything else like that.

The boxes side and its back show a closeup portrait of Frankies front artwork.

At this picture you can see how Frankie is fixed on her display when you pull her out of her box. You also can see most of her accessory which I will review later in detail.
The display itself is mainly in red with black and a little bit white and shows a stage with some magic items.

Behind the display you can find the rest of the things Frankie comes with.

Ours didn't have a brush this time which didn't matter because we already have enough of those, but I don't know if it had simply been forgotten to be added or if Frankie doesn't come with a brush at all this time.
But she has the usually black MH standard doll stand and also comes with a little poster repeating the boxes artwork. If you have the Freak du Chic Rochelle Goyle playset you can use the poster there to be framed. Or maybe you want to do your own show display and can hang it up there.

Here is Frankie herself out of the box.

On the display she wears her top hat in one hand and pulls the other hand out of it.
Here we show how she looks like if you put the top hat on her headband and her hand on the doll where it belongs.

As usually, Frankie has light green skin, two bolts at her neck, painted on scars and stitches all over her body and one blue and one green eye.

This time her hair is mainly white with black streaks all over the top, parted at the middle of her head and curled at the bottom which gives her a nice romantic  circus look.

Her top hat, as mentioned, can be pushed on or off her white headband and is black with a stitch design.

Here is a closeup of Frankies face which is again a tiny little bit blurry but this is because we didn't use a flashlight so you can see the colours of her make-up better, we tried it out and the flesh lighted up her face too much.

Frankies make-up is a dark red lipstick and very light purple and blue or grey eyeshadow which is very smooth. This time her eyelashes are also done smoother as on most of the other dolls, more defined.

The eyes also are highlighted with some cute black dots under the eyebrows.

Frankie doesn't wear any jewellery but one white headband, its the thing that looks like giraffe horns. Those are meant to hold her top hat.

Here is a closeup of Frankies fangtastic dress and her accessoires, a black magical wand with white bottom and three light blue "rings" that have the form of the MH skullettes and are the items she uses for her magical show.

The dress is all one part.
The main dress is black with white and black swirls with flesh design. In the middle it has a corsage part, black and blue with stitch design. Around her waist there is a red and black striped belt sewn on the upper skirt part which is translucent material in blue with black stripes.
This material repeats at her collar.

Todays last foto shows Freak du Chic Frankies boots.
This time Calaminthe is happy that you can see all the electrifiying details.

The boots are all black and mainly checkered and go up very close to Frankies knees.

At the front they are laced up, the laces have Frankies flash motive.
At the site the boots have stitches.

The soles have some studs but the cutest things are the heels that are little black bunnies coming out of little top hats!

Well, we are at the end of todays blogspot and I hope you liked the review, even though it was not the newest doll you may find in your local stores.

Our Frankie is very happy with her new look.

Next week possibly I will show you the rest of the Tapefitty outfits or maybe a ghoul special... better said our first manster special. Maybe. But that one will come sureley, I just don't know when.
Or, possibly, I will have managed to finish this seasons first 5 winter outfits, but I am not sure also. There is still so much else to do.

So let yourself be surprised. As you see, we already have enough stuff for future blogspots.
And we never know when the next review will be. We never don't know what will happen....

But I hope you still like the blog and come back from time to time to see our latest posts.

Now I wish you a clawsome weekend and a fangtastic week,

bye,

xxx Clawdeen xxx
