Fall Fashion 2017: First Five Outfits

Hello Blogmonsters,

Here is Clawdeen Wolf with the weekly blogspot.

It is still summer, but I already started this years fall collection. I want to finish clothes for those who don't have fall clothes so far as well as some for those who could beed a new set.

I like the fall very much. Its the biest time to walk in the woods, everything smells well then, for example the mushrooms and the fallen down leafs. The colours are great, and mist coming out of the woods or lying on a lake can make a wonderful landscape view as well.

Perfect werewolf-season.

Okay, lets start with the outfits I finished so far. I have as always more to do, so I want to keep it shortly.

First one who got a boo outfit this year was Silvi Timberwolf.

For her I finished a simple, long black sweater together with pink batic pants.

Because the sweater was simple, I also finihed a pink necklace with pink metal leaf hangar and matching leaf earrings.

Twyla was the second one to get boo fashion.

This year, I finished a top with her pet Dustin as print together with black jeans jacket and pants.

The jacket has a fake silver zipper at the front and a silver charm in the shape of a bow.
Also she has two leaf earrings, in silver as well, of course.

More bling-bling is always too much for the ghoul who loves to fang out in the shadows.

The first outfit I made for my little sis Pawla is a black tunique with paw print and turquise knee long leggings.

Also she got a boo pair of shoes. Of course she still has paws, but in this age, little werewolfs want to get their first shoes. For fall and winter, I think they are must-haves.

So I finished a pair of black silk shoes with ribbons matching the outfit. I had a little bit of bad luck using the glue, but well.... its kind of my first pair of shoes.

Of course then Barker wanted an outfit as well.
My blonde little brother got a blue tartan checkered shirt, green pants and shoes made from the same material as the shirt.

He is very prowd of his first pair of shoes. Lets hope he doesn't chew them.

Last fashion for today is for Amanita Nightshade.

The plant ghoul got a black dress, long sleeved, with a layer of black tull over the skirt part.
The pattern of the dress itself is of course floral.

Also she got a pair of silver earrings. since she already had the leaf shaped ones, this time hers have the shape of little flowers.

And here is the group shot of the boo outfits I made.

From the left to the right you see Silvi Timberwolf, Pawla Wolf, Amanita Nightshade, Twyla Bogeyman and Barker Wolf.

And this is the end of todays blogspot.

I am not sure if I manage to finish five more outfits until next weekend, so I thing I'll post something different instead.

All left is to say goodbye now,

A fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week,

wishes

REVIEW: Monster Family Lagoona And Kelpie Blue

Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

Welcome to another blogspot moderated by me, Cleo deNile!

Clawdeen promised you some exclusive outdoor-Robecca pictures last week, and if you want to see them, please have a look at

at Facebook. there you will find them.

Instead, I will introduce you to another new member of one of our families.

Yes, it is review time again and yesss, there are two dolls to be reviewed this time.

Here are:

MONSTER FAMILY LAGOONA AND KELPIE BLUE

If you live in Germany, you can find them like Calaminthe did at MΓΌller.

Here they are in their box, which matches the other Monster Family boxes of course.
Clawdeen already reviewd those.

On this one, you will find cute artwork of Lagoona, Kelpie and their smaller sister Ebbie Blue.

The boxes back shows the same pieces of artwork and some of the playsets of the Monster Family series.

When you open it up, you will find Lagoona and Kelpie pinned on a beach scenery background together with everything included to the box.

As you already may have guessed:
No brushes, no doll stands, no diaries.

Here are Lagoona and Kelpie freed from the box.

Each of them has nice accessories, as you will see in the single review.

Lets start reviewing Lagoona.

As Clawdeen, she is a doll without knee and elbow joints.
I will show it in detail later.

Lagoonas blonde and aqua hair is parted to one side and curled up at the bottom.
I like this hairstyle very much and also the lenght of it, but there is one minus:

While Clawdeen of the same series is nicely rooted, Lagoonas hair sadly is much thinner.
So if you want to do different hairstyles its possible you will see parts of bold head here and there.

Lagoona wears a light make-up with soft orange lipstick and light pink eyeshadow, perfect for the beach and matching her outfit.

On her head there is pinned a pair of orange glasses.

Pulling those down in front of her eyes (as shades are meant for, usually), Lagoona will not see too much because they are not that clear as sunglasses MAY should be like.

But they are nevertheless very cute and totally Lagoonas maritime style.
They are monstrous big and framed with octopus tentacles.

Lagoonas latest beachwear is a tankini.

The top has orange straps that go over the top to the bottom in a "V" shape.
The shorts have a "belt" of the same ribbon and a mesh layer in turquise.

Both have a very cute pattern with scales and sea horses in turquise, pink and black.

Lagoona is wearing matching orange beach sandals with bubble detail and comes with a beach bag that is not-so-matching in colour.
It is lime green and an open basket with scullette logo at the front.

Now to Lagoonas body.

You can move her shoulders, her upper legs and her neck.

Her body is a little asymertic to give her a cute pose together with her legs and arms.
One of those each is a little bit bent.

At this low-articulated body type of Lagoona, her fins are molded on and wrapped back to her body, which can be nice if you want to make her wear long sleeves or pants.

Also, you cannot loose the leg fins anymore.

I don't want to say this Lagoona is good or bad. Its as always a matter of taste.

She has pros and she has contras, as Clawdeen does to.

The only clear minus may be the thinly rooted hair (which does look nice nevertheless if you don't want to style her hair) and the missing translucent of her sunglasses.

Now to Kelpie Blue, Lagoonas little sister.

Kelpie was first introduced in the Monster High Boovie Great Scarrier Reef.

IT seems that since then she has grown a little bit.
At least her hair is longer then suspected.

Kelpie has the same hair colours as Lagoona, but her hair is much curlier, and she has a purple skin colour.

She is wearing a kelp shaped headband in purple which holds her wild hair back off the face and also a pair of shades.
Hers have a jelly frame and are grey.

In the boovie, Kelpie has glasses too, so I don't know if these are just shades.

Kelpie has a very cute face (gah, blurry close-up again!) with big turquise eyes, turquise eyebrows and purple freckles.

Her lips are purple as well.

And she has enourmous, but cute fin shaped ears that have a little bit darker colour then the rest of her.

Her swimsuit is asymetric with one strap in the same fabric of the rest and a thinner black one.

Printed onto the turquise, white and purple striped fabric is one big, black barbed heart with scales.

Also she has a fuchsia mesh bubble skirt which remembers of jelly fish.

Kelpie brings an orange basket with two tentacles molded on which is filled with a coffin-to-go beaker in shark shape (so cute!) and something to eat... maybe a sandwich.

It looks as if it could be parted in the middle but we tried it out, it doesn't come apart.

Sadly again a blurry pic, but here are Kelpies sandals.

Her feet are not as high as those of the regular monster size, and so her soles are a bit more flat as well.

There are starfishs molded onto the soles and the straps look like kelp or algae.

Kelpie has the same articulation as her big sister.
Her body is of course a younger type.

Her fins are molded on as well and look a little different from Lagoonas, and she has a scaly skin too, at least on her arms and legs.

Well, thank you for watching.

Over all we like this playset very much, otherwise Calaminthe wouldn't have brought it home.
What is a minus to one of you can be a plus for another one, so rate yourself, please.

Clawdeen didn't tell me what she planned to post next week, but as you know, plans can always be skipped. πŸ˜‰

Everything left now is to say goodbye and wish

A majestic weekend and a royal week

REVIEW: Monster Family Clawdeen, Barker And Weredith Wolf

Hello to a brand boo blogspot, monsters!

This weeks blogspot will be a little bit longer, because I want to introduce two more of my family members to you plus my own latest night wear including a doppelganger model.

I also have three fangtastic boo fieldtrip pictures, this time of Robecca Steam, but this blogspot will be long enough and so I will show them to you on another spot, okay?

Well, better start with the review!

So, here is another part of my family (plus another version of myself):
Meet

THE MONSTER FAMILY CLAWDEEN, BARKER AND WEREDITH WOLF

here still in box.
The box itself looks very much alike Pawla's, just bigger and with a different background. There is of course more stuff for artworks.

The back is similar as well, but this time you will find photos of the Dracula/Draculaura playset, Lagoona and Kelpie two pack, Ebbie Blue and Pawla.

The purple framed background looks also very much like Pawlas, just this time there is shown a bathroom scenery.

As you can see when you open the box, there is no stand or brush included, but each doll has its own accessorie.

So, here we are, freed from box and display.

Lets start the review with my little brother, Barker Wolf.

Barker has the same bodytype then Pawla, if you want to see details, you can find her review here.
But his skin colour is lighter then Pawlas or mine, it is more like Howleens.
One arm is bent, just like Pawlas, and the other is straight down.
But in Barkers case it is the left arm and Pawla "uses" her right one.

This means, Barker can hold Pawlas Teddybear and Pawla can use Barkers toothbrush (eeew!)

Of course it also means they bith are frozen in this pose.

When I reviewd Pawla, I thought it could be very difficult to make clothes for them, but meanwhile Pawla has her first complete set, so it works.
Its just a tiny little bit tricky.

Pawlas clothes will be shown in another blogspot.

Today is Barkers debut, not Pawlas.

Barker comes with a red toothbrush that has handles and is shaped like a bone and an orange sleeping mask.
I must say, the sleeping mask sadly doesn't fit him very well.
Nevertheless it looks scary cute with ears, eyes and fangs.

Here is a close-up of my little brother without the mask.
He has a brown wolfnose, cute yellow eyes with a ring of grey also and ocre blonde hair with some blue streaks.

The hair is plastic, but well. He is a small doll, and Barker told me for him it was okay because this way he doesn't have to comb.
Tss, Mansters!

Barker is wearing shorty pajamas.

Those are a blue shorts with orange trim and a top in mainly black and blue with a kind of flesh or zigzag pattern. Within the black zigzags there are yellow wolf eyes.

Here are all of Barkers clothes and accessories.
As Pawla, he comes without a pair of shoes.

This could have two reasons:

Reason one: The play set is sleepover time themed.

or maybe also

Reason two: My little siblings are still half in their wolf shape. Their hands and feets are still more paws and so they may prefer wearing barefoot.

I decided myself that, for fall and winter at least, they will need footwear!

Well, now to the youngest member of the Wolf Family:

my little sister

WEREDITH WOLF.

Werediths fur is again darker, like mine or Pawlas maybe.

Her face still is more wolfish then human looking, with a tiny cute snout.

She has huge ears and on her head she has one purple streak holt together with a pink ribbon.
Again, everything is plastic.

Weredith has articulation at neck, shoulders, hips and tail, so you can make her stand or sit if you like.

She is wearing a permanent top with black and purple pattern that shows blue paws and yellow eyes and white diapers with pink crossbones and yellow closuring.

From the back you can see she has an enourmous wolf tail that you can spin around in other positions.

Barker says it let her more look like a little fox, but of course he doesn't believe this really, she loves our little baby sis as much as we all do. She is so cute!

As you also can see, the back of her top is all black.

I will try to give her fabric clothes later nevertheless.

Oh yes:

Weredith has two accessories:
A pink wrap and a yellow milk bottle with handle.

Sorry for the picture being blurry again, but here you see how the piece of fabric can be wrapped around Werediths body.

Now to myself or better, my doppelganger.

This because I still prefer my basic body and make-up, but this version of me is nevertheless really scary cute looking.

My Monster Family self has light peach eye makeup and lipstick as well and curly brown and purple hair that is thickly rooted and looks great.

She is wearing two yellow hair accessories that are bone shaped.

I really love her look and will of course grab her fashion and accessories later for myself, yay!

Here are her - ahem - my brand boo pajamas.

The pattern on the top vis much alike the patterns on my siblings night wear, this time in black, purple and yellow.
It is sleeveless and one shoulder has the pattern while the second is in yellow and lets the top look clawsome assymatric.

The pants are yellow with grey tiger stripe print and at the front there is a little purple ribbon.

Sadly, Calaminthe blurried the slipper photo up again.

Grrrr! Sorry, Cala!

My slippers are all purple, look furry and have a monster face with ears.

Very sorry for that, maybe you can see them better in one of the other pictures.

The main thing why I don't want to change my look completely is my doppelgangers body type.

This Clawdeen is non-articulated at knees, ellbows and wrists.

Don't understand me wrong, the pose really looks cute and it has the advantage that you cannot loose hands, arms or else.

But of course, for doing so much poses as I usually need to do and for designing clothes, a fully articulated body is better!

Monster Familys hips are a tiny bit bent to one side which does her pose even let look cuter.
THIS body type sure is perfect for Collectors who just pose their doll on a shelf, I think.

One arm and one leg is straight while the others are slightly bent.

Please don't see this too negative.
One would perfer the stiffer bodys, others may prefer the articulated ones.

Each type has advantages and disadvantages.

Sure is: We will not give this Clawdeen away, she will find her place somewhere in a shelf, I guess.

She is a really cute little model.

Well, and now we are at the end of todays review and blogspot.

Calaminthe hopes to grab more boo dolls during the next months, so maybe thzere will be more surprise reviews from time to time.

For today, everythings said.

So: Byebye to you all, Blogmonsters,

have a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week!

More Sports Wear

Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

Here is Cleo deNile with the weekly blogspot.

Clawdeen is, as most of the time, busy at home doing more fashion and such, and so she asked me to do the spot again.

While I am really busy with sport, in this time, the royal sport tennis, I agreed.
At least my outfit matches todays blogtheme:

Clawdeens latest five sporty fashion for some of the ghouls.

Well, here is - upside down - Honey Swamp showing her comfy sport outfit.

It is a purple T-Shirt with Monster-High logo print together with loose, colourful harem pants and an orange headband.

Aris sportsfashion is comfy too. She has a sky blue T-Shirt with a print of her own Mini-self, light purple shorts and a blue-vichy-checkered visor which has the logo of the clothing label comma, .

Luna Mothews, who loves black, is wearing two tops, a black short one over a longer white one, together with black and white leggings.

Clawdeen did her biest to let the sports wear look as goth stylish as possible.
And Luna likes it.

For Venus McFlytrap, Clawdeen told me, she had sketched something totally different years before but decided to design this one instead.

Sadly, the Mimi-Venus motive she wanted to print onto the top, burned, and so she got a simple black top.
But together with her colourful zig-zag patterned leggings, I think, its colourful enough, especially together with the yellow headband.

Venus also is accessorized with a green skipping rope.

Well, and here is the ouitfit Clawdeen needed the longest for, as she told me:

An aviator outfit for Robecca Steam.

IT perfectly goes together with her rocket boots but is also great for flying or car racing, and Robecca hooted with delight when she got it.

The outfit includes a black real leather pilot cap and fitting jacket, a bisk T-Shirt with Steam-punk motive and a pair of corduory Breeches trousers.

She is accessorized with a white scarf and pilot glasses that had been realized by Calaminthes dad!

And here is, as always, the group shot with all these boo outfits.

From the left to the right you see the sports wear of:

Luna Mothews, Honey Swamp, Robecca Steam, Venus McFlytrap and Ari Hauntington.

I hope you liked the blogspot, and it is time to say goodbye.

Next week Clawdeen hopes it will be review time again, but it is not sure.
She has an alternative, though.

Goodbye to you,

have a majestic weekend and a royal week!
