Blogger Fashion For Myself And Toralei Fasching Costume

Hello Blogmonsters,

Clawdeen Wolf here with the weekly blogspot.

Thank you, first, for comments and ideas you had during the last weeks after I asked for it. One can never have enough feedback so please don't get tired to post comments - either here on in fb.

So, what is the blog about this weekend?

Of course about Fasching, or Karneval, as they call it too.
I made a cute costume for Toralei this year and yesterday, she went out with Calaminthe in our hometown to have a little photosession.

But before - I want to show you a boo outfit I finished for myself.

Here it is.

It doesn't fit really in spring, summer, fall or winter category and I just call it blogshirt outfit.
Maybe I'll do a series of this for everyghoul and manster later, I am not sure yet.

The main theme is the T-shirt I am wearing.

It has the Clawdeens Photoblog logo picture. Usually I am not the one who needs to wear something with my own photo, but we decided this one to be the blogspot logo pic, and so it is settled.

These T-Shirts - in changing colours, will be part of every future giveaway I do on my blog, and I have already given away one or two of these the last times.

Around the T-Shirt, I have designed a complete outfit for myself:
A black jeans jacket with golden fake zipper, green and copper leggings, a lime green beret and a large purple travel bag. Also I made a bracelet for myself and added two more of the cute little earrings Jianne gave to Calaminthe.

Well, now to Fasching.

Ta-daa!

Here is a werecat, dressed up as a mouse!

I had the idea for Toraleis costume long ago and this year, as third self-made costume (remember my Hula-ghoul costume and Cleos peacock costume from the last two years?) for the Karneval season.

I have more ideas scribbled into my fashion book for more of us, so be sure you'll see more of them in the future.

Calaminthe thought it came out really cute and so she went to do a little photosession in our hometown Olpe yesterday. Here it is.

I hope you enjoyed the photos, they had been made in the middle of Olpe. They had been made Im Weierhohl which is a way underneath Olpes medieval townwall and is only open for cyclists and pedestrians. It is a nice place for taking pictures and Calaminthe had taken some before of Cleo and myself.

For today its time to say goodbye.

I have some plans for upcoming blogspots but am not sure what I will post at what time, so be surprised.

I wish you a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week and for those who celebrate Karneval and Fasching:

Marcy Dice Fashion Top and REVIEW: Party Ghouls Rochelle Goyle

Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

Here is Cleo deNile with the weekly blogspot.

Clawdeen promised you a review and you'll get one, but first I want to show you something else:

Again Calaminthe won a photo competition in one of her MH fb groups and on Valentines day, it arrived from the USA.

It was a top, handcrafted by fangtastic Marcy Dice!
I had my hands on it immediateley and so did mummy girl Teje.

Well... at the end I decided to let her having it because it looked royal on me but was a teeny tiny itsy bitsy bit tight on me.
Because I didn't want to damage it of course I granted it to Teje at least. She is a tiny bit thinner then I am nowadays.
Don't understand me wrong, of course my body is perfect! Just not for this top. But well. I have many great fashion and Teje not so much and so I guess its okay for me.

And here it is! The bustier part of the top is pleather, the bottom part long red frings, bordered with red paillettes.

I love the crossed straps, it would have been so my thing! But it DOES look majestic on Teje as well, doesn't it?

The skirt is simple black wet look material and made by our Clawdeen so that the top still is the outstanding fashion piece.

Thank you so much, Marcy!!! It is really a worthy and bootiful gift!!! You are the beast!

πŸ’•

Okay, and now to the promised review.

Here is

PARTY GHOUL ROCHELLE GOYLE

... still in her box.

Please excuse the cat tail - Calaminthe couldn't persuade cat Percy to get out of way.

Rochelles box is the same as the one Abbey came in, of course, they are part of the same line.
Of course the pictures in the corner at the bottom show Rochelle this time.

You can find Party Ghoul Abbeys review in this post:

Here is the boxes back that shows cute artwork of Rochelle this time and the dolls you see on the bottom are Abbey and Venus.
There is also a hint that Rochelle has a Roux purse.

Here is Rochelle still pinned on her - damaged again sadly - background display.

You can see that she comes with purse and with snap on accessories.

There is no brush or doll stand included or a diary.
Personally we have enough brushes for all the ghouls but we badly miss those diaries and even more the doll stands.
On the old stands the upper parts tend to break after a while and so we have less and less.
Its a pity - its not as easy anymore to display all of us.

Well, here are Rochelles purse without snap-on accessorie and all the accessories she came with.

The purse is really cute and shows a little turquise baby gargoyle.
I wouldn't really say its Roux because Rochelles pet is a gryphon and has a beak and this one has a pig or cow snout instead. Nevertheless its cute.
You will see a picture of the purse with accessorie later, right in the box the little black bow had been pinned on it.

Also, there is a big turquise three-flowers-piece with fleurs-de-lys ornament in the middle which is perfect for Rochelle, a very cute dragon-fly piece that has the same colour as well as two of the smaller fleurs-de-lys-flower pieces. The other two are pink.

Here is Rochelle as she comes right out of her box.

On the pictures we forgot to snap in her gargoyle wings who had been added loose in the box, but don't worry, of course she comes with.

Reboot Rochelle has grey, marbled skin again and mainly pink, long, wavy hair with bangs. There is also a light aqua streak.

Rochelles new big eyes are light pink and she wears grey eyeshadow, light pink lipstick and I think light pink rouge.

On her head she has a tiara with three holes for the accessories to snap in. It is black and has a swirly design.

She also has a black belt piece with suspenders, also with a lot of holes.

She is wearing it over a one-piece party dress.
The top is turquise with powder pink ruffles and the  broomstick skirt has two layers of purple material that has a pattern showing dragonflies, fleurs-de-lys-flowers and bows in pink and turquise.

The dress is very cute but it would have been even greater if top and skirt had been seperate pieces.

Rochelles shoes are light pink, have also holes for two of the accessories and have a big fleurs-de-lys at the front. The rest of the shoes have a swirl design again.

Okay - lets accessorize Rochelle with the accessories.

I did it a different way this time: Rochelle used three of the little flowers for the headpiece and placed the big piece onto the belt. Her little gargoyle purse is also accessorized with one of the little flowers here.

On her shoes - the camera focused on the background sadly - Rochelle pinned the dragon fly and the little big bow.

She placed the accessories this way just to show you that you have endless possibilities to play around with the included parts.

And you have even more if you have Party Ghouls Abbey and Venus as well. Of course they can swap accessories.

Here is a different way to place the thingies. This way the tiara looks like a Hungarian kind of headdress - the whole fashion ansemble has an eastern ethno touch.

Here is everything Rochelle comes with.

And now its time to compare new Rochelle with the old basic Rochelle.

New Rochelles body is a bit shorter and wider. she has less hollowback and wider arms.
Her upper legs are longer.

The wings seem to be exactly the same and they also snap in the same way as on the old doll.

Here they are from the front. The differences of the bodies are more obviously from the side, I think.

New Rochelle seems to be a tiny bit taller also.

The most conspicious differences between new and old Rochelle though are the eyes.

New Rochelle has much bigger and rounder eyes with more lashes but very clean and reduced make-up.
She looks younger and thoughtful while old Rochelle has a very melancholic face.

Its a matter of taste which one you like better. I like both faces their own ways but am a fan of the reboot bodies.

And here we are at the end of todays blogspot.

To make it short:

I wish you as always a majestic weekend and a royal week.

Bye for today

Valentine Fashion

Hi Blogmonsters,

This week its Valentines day.

Its Draculauras birthday and she likes the day the biest, of course, though everything that happened to her some years ago with Kieran Valentine.

I have started two years ago to do a Valentine dress for one or two of us each year, beginning with the fashion you see me in.

You know I drew lots most of the time or try to find fabrics and materials that suit beast instead, so my poor beastie Draculaura still didn't get a special Valentine combo yet. And she is such a romantic ghoul... so sorry, my Beastie!

I want to find a perfect fabric that will suit you AND my brother Clawd and I didn't yet.
So, maybe - next year. Sorry again, Drac!

Instead, this year, I came up with something for Frankie.

Of course something with heart print!
It was not what I had in mind first and came out somehow very vintage but Frankie seems to like it.

The combo is a high waisted red skirt with heart print, as I said, and an offwhite blouse with red buttons. The whole thing is accessorized with a pair of earrings with pearl and heart beads.

Here you see the old ones again.

The first I made for myself, a crochet neckholder top going together with offwhite shorts with heartprint over red tights and a red headband with purple striped heart ornament. One year later I completed it with two golden earrings that say "love".

The year before, I made this dress for Operetta. It was the first sewn - to be true - glued one and didn't fit the beast. Usually it was meant as a normal summer dress but together with the vintage basket full of roses it also was perfect for Valentines day.

Its a red and white vichy checkered dress, a red velvet corsage that is a bit too big and a red pettycoat. The whole thing is accessorized with a black pipecleaner headband. It is just curled here but later I tried to shape a heart out of it.

Last year, I made my first couple combo:

This dress was for Cleo. I could find a white fabric with hearts that was nice for her and made a romantic skirt and top combo with some lace and also a pair of pink heart shaped earrings.

For Deuce, I made a shirt of the same material and fake-buttoned it up in green and he got  bordeaux red trousers that go well with the pink hearts material.

So.... with Frankies dress - there are now five Valentine outfits I finished.

And its time for a group shot that came out quite nice, I think.
From the top left to the bottom right you see once again:

Operetta, Cleo deNile and Deuce Gorgone, myself and Frankie Stein.

Maybe next year I can manage to find enough material and time to complete five more Valentine outfits, who knows. I'll try my beast.

For now, I wish you a fangtastic weekend, a clawsome week and:

REVIEW: Party Ghouls Abbey / Last Of 2017 Winter Fashion

Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

here is Cleo deNile with the weekly blogspot.

Today, the spot has two parts.

First, I have a review for you:
This week our Abbey changed her look into Party Ghouls.

Also, I persuaded Clawdeen to show the last four of her Winter Fashion Collection for 2017.
I mean - its nearly spring... and also it could be that after three weeks of Winter Fashion you might like to see other fashion again.
I can promise you though, those last four outfits are gore-geous!

Well, let's start with

PARTY GHOULS ABBEY BOMINABLE.

This is her in the box.

The box is one of those boo Reboot boxes which has cardboard as background and plastic all around.
Venus is not so happy with so much plastic and says our environment is dirty enough and Calaminthe agrees that more cardboard and less plastic would be great.

At the front of the box there are the MH logo, some photos and infearmation of Abbey and a heart that sais how the line of dolls is called in different languages.

On the back of the box there is a very cute artwork of Abbey framed by a silver mirror with some ballons next to, a hint that her purse is a Shiver purse and that you can change her look with accessoires.

Also, you find little pictures of the other two dolls that are part of the Party Ghous line: Rochelle Goyle and Venus McFlytrap.

And then there is, on the bottom, further infearmation.

Another disadvantage of the new boxes is that you are not able to open those so carefully that they will not be damaged and, once out of the box, you can't use those boxes to put in the dolls and her accessories again.

So please excuse Calaminthe that she didn't manage to open the box better and the background looking damaged here.

Still on her display, you see that Abbey comes with purse and with seven accessories to decorate her however you like.

Again, no dollstand, no brush and no diary is included.

The display itself repeats once again the mirror with lightbulbs and ballons that you already saw on the back of the box, just that the colour of the ballons is different this time.

And indeed, there are seven accessories to decorate Abbey!

Five flower ornaments, two of those purple and three pink, a bigger ornament that I would describe as crystal ice flower in purple and a little purple insect which you will find on Abbeys purse.

And here is Abbey Bominable herself as she comes out of the box.

And we all agree that she looks very beautiful!

her new skin doesn't shimmer that much as on old Abbey and her long hair goes into the back and is white with a light blue and a purple streak at one side. It doesn't have those glittery tinsel anymore that her old basic version had, but thats okay.
The hair is hold back off her face on top of the back of her head.

At the close-up you can see that Abbey has grey eyeshadow, blue lipstick and pink blush.

She is wearing a black hat that looks like a russian tyle fur pillbox hat. It has a little hole at the front in which you can punch one of the accessories and is hold on her hand by a headband.

Here you can see Abbeys outfit and her purse.

The puse is turquise, can not be opened but looks very cute! The boxes back sais it shows her little mammoth Shiver but I would describe it more like a little yeti creature. Nevertheless, and I already said it, it IS very cute! At the top, the puse is already accessorized with the little insect, but you can change this and snap in easch other of the ornaments.

The outfit has three parts:

Over all, there is a little black fake fur stola which is closed at the back with Velcro.  It is a single part and not attatched to the dress.

Then, you have a collar and belt part in blue with shoulders and with a lot of holes - I counted 13 - to be decorated with ornaments. It is blue, has a crystal look and is translucent blue.

And under this is the dress. It is silky, has a high collar and the bottom has a black satin border. It looks very bootiful. The front of the dress has a pattern withpurple, blue and black flowers and blue insects on a purple and white background that could maybe show leafs.
The back of the dress is simply purple satin without any pattern but also cut on point at the bottom and bordered with black.

And here are Abbeys boots that match the collar and belt piece, are translucent blue and crystal again with a furry look at the top. Each of the boots has two holes to be decorated with accessorized.

Here is a close-up of Abbeys purse again. It is decorated, as mentioned before, with the little insect accessorie but you can change it out against maybe one of the flowers or the big crystal ornament.

Or against one of the ornaments that Rochelle and Venus will come with, if you have those too.

Here is Abbeys hat decorated with the big crystal ornament. Try out the insect or one of the flowers instead maybe, the varies are cute!

Abbey decorated her belt piece first with three of the little flowers, two purple and a pink one. There are a lot of other possibilities as well. Maybe you try out the big crystal piece at the bottom of the belt? Or the insect at the collar?

And look how cute her boots look like with four of the flower pieces... or maybe with just two?

Here is a photo of everything Abbey comes with - the stola, the decorated purse, the decorated shoulder-and-belt piece, the dress and the decorated boots.

Since Party Ghouls Abbey - on the right - is the first Reboot Abbey in this house of course she agreed that I show you a comparison between her and old Basic Abbey on the left.

The biggest change in her face are her new big eyes, her different skin, lighter eyebrows, no tinseled hair and her teeth are closer together then before.

Um, yes, of course her make-up changed too, but this changes with every doll.

What are Abbeys Body changes?
Mainly she has wider hips, a shorter body with less hollowback, longer thighs, wider arms and sculpted fur at wrists and legs. The new joints are more stable.
And here you can see that her skin tone changed a decent bit as well.

Okay - we are at the end of Abbeys review.

And now to the last winter outfits Clawdeen finished. all of the outfits for ghouls that already had a pullover combination before :

Draculaura got a new, white faux fur trimmed metallic pink jacket over a black top with bats-at-dawn motive printed on together with striped dark leggings.

She also has a pair of pink earrings.

This winter fashion is without hat.

Neferas second winter fashion is a black high collar dress with Osiris print under a purple faux fur vest, together with quilted golden pants and a purple crochet beanie hat with golden border.

Spectra, who loves floating materials, has a long purple coat with pink buttons matching a purple felt hat with pink paillettes. Underneath she is wearing a light grey top with pattern and light grey silky pinstriped trousers.

And here is Twyla with purple, faux fur trimmed tweed coat and matching bakers boy cap over a simple purple top and dark blue crash panne velvet leggings. She also got little very light greenish pearl bead earrings.

And here is the last of todays photos, a group shot of those four winter outfits.
From left to right:
My sister Nefera, Twyla Bogeyman, Draculaura and Spectra Vondergeist.

I hope you liked todays long blogspot.
And that you maybe come back to see what's up next week.

A majestic weekend and a royal week

wishes
