REVIEW: Electrified Cleo deNile

Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

Its Cleo deNile here, and its time for the weekend blogspot!

Oh yes, and I have electrifying things to show you....
I know, usually its more Frankies word. Okay, I have GOLDEN things to show you - ME!

Here is another great look I want to present you, and of course I am looking as majestic as always.

But see yourself. Today I am:

ELECTIFIED CLEO DE NILE

Even on this too dark picture of me still in box you can guess how colourful I look this time.

The boxes are already reviewed.

I am - together with Venus McFlytrap, an exclusive MH doll. In USA you only could buy us, as far I know, at Target.
Here in Germany, you might have good luck to still find me at Mรผller, if you want.

Here is the artwork from the boxes back. Because it looks so great, I want to show it to you of course.

Also there are tiny pictures of the other ghouls of this line, the HAIR RAISING GHOULS.

Venus, Silvi and Ari are already reviewed, today its on me, and there is also a Hair Raising Draculaura.

After opening the box, you will find me pinned on a dark background with neon colours.

As always, what you see is what you get. There isn't a brush, stand, diary.

Here I am, unleashed!
Look how amazingly different I look like, but still typically myself.

On the close-up of my face you can seee my make-up. I still have my typically ancient egypt khajal on my upper eye, but under my eyes I am wearing neon yellow colour this time. My eyeshadow is also in yellow, but its highlighted in turquise.

The 1980es style make-up is completed by a soft, salmon-coloured lipstick.

My mainly black hair goes down to the back, as most of the time, but this time it is styled differently.

Most of it is crimped in 1980es or 1990es manner, my bangs are combed to the right, and accessorily to my turquise streak in the bangs I have a fat neon pink coloured one in my nape!

On my head I am wearing a bright yellow zig-zag headband with a huuuge diamond- shaped ornament.

And here is my dress which. I. Just. Love!

The skirt part is cut assymetric. The top part as well as the bottom bordering are neon yellow kind of plastic material, which you will find on each dress of this series.

The main part is a satin material with a stunning and very colourful pattern on a black background. You can find "just" stripes, zig-zags, diamonds, cat mummies, Horus' eyes and pyramids. Everything I love.

The zig-zags look like something you would find for example on ancient egypt columns.

I so love this fabric! It is modern and ancient egypt at the same time!

And here you have a look at my shoes. Those are bright red peep-toes and repeat the motives of the dress.

Plus: I also have a teal crowned snake wrapped arounf one of my legs that reminds me of my pet Hissette (I really miss her and still don't have her here, sadly).

Well, reviews end.

What do you think? I really like this look. Calaminthe thought at first she wouldn't, but after bringing me home she changed her mind.

And now its time to say goodbye.

Have a majestic weekend and a royal week,

๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’

REVIEW: Ballerina Ghouls Moanica D'kay

Hi out there!

I hope there are just monsters. In this case: I am going to dance the fright away!
The fright of turning over the world from the normies! Muahaha!

Thats because:

I am Moanica D'kay!

Yes, today its my blogspot because I am faster then whatever that werewolf Clawdeen planned to show to you before!

Today will be about ME!

And I am not only good in scaring the normies.

The others call me the mean ghoul. So what! Then I am, if mean ghoul means I am born to lead.

I am also a great dancer.
And I will show you today my latest self, which I like to call:

Ballerina Ghouls Moanica D'kay!

Last week Calaminthe found me out in the german stores (Real, but Mรผller has the Ballerina Ghouls as well) and brought me home because she wanted a second Moanica.

I know there are more dolls planned to review, but this series is new and maybe you are planning to buy a zombie dancer ghoul for yourself and maybe learn more about us before.

So here I am, still in my box.

And since I am the first one of the Ballerina Ghouls to be here, I will show the box to you as well.

As you can see, the front has the new classic MH design with stripes and coffin shape.

The box is black and the front clear plastic, but at the right you find the MH logo and under it an artwork of myself, together with my name and a ballet shoes logo.

Here is the back of the box. It has the usual infearmation at the bottom.

At the top is again the artwork showing me, dancing.

On the right is again my name, the hint that I am the daughter of Zombies in several languages as well as the name of the series, again in different languages.

You also can get Draculaura and Cleo deNile as Ballerina Ghouls. You will find their pictures also on the boxes back.

But I want you to buy me! I want an army of Ballerina Zombies who are ready to take over the world, of course!

When you open up the box, you will find me pinned on the background.

That background is mainly black and purple with a bit of yellow and shows a stage scenery.

There is just me in the package, together with one accessorie which is a mask. No stand, no brush, nothing else.

And here I am, ready to dance.

And time to get a closer look.

First, some of my accessories.

The mask I come with is all black. It can be worn as glasses and perfectly fits.
It has black pearls or studs all over and black feathers in the middle.
It really brings out my amazing green eyes.

I also have a tiara.

The tiara is light pink, has a rose themed headband and a rib cage design crown with a bowed heart at the top.

Also I am wearing two purple swirled bracelets that go from my wrists to my ellbows and have a swirled design and studs at the bottom.

Another accessorie is the necklace-to-belt thing I am wearing. I don't know how it is called in english, but who cares?

Its the same pink as my tiara and full of studs.

Here is the face close-up.

I am wearing pink eyeshadow and blush, and my lips are fuchsia.

My hzair is hold together in a curly bun at the top of my head.

My basic version has mainly powder pink hair with a lime green streak, this time its a pale lavender tone with two lime green streaks.

Here is how it looks from the back. Its a soft quality and I don't know how it looks like if you open it up. I will not do this. I love the hairstyle as it is, and Calaminthe sais that once you open up a dolls hairstyle you usually ruined it, usually.

The hair is not as long as on my basic self, thats clear, its much shorter.

Time to show my ballerina dress to you. Here it is with....

...and without the belt.

The dress is mainly pink and fuchsia, with an over-all brain design. There are also some yellow "flowers" made from something that looks like the radioactive symbol and some green flowers made from - I guess its ballerina legs.

The skirt is zigzagged at the bottom and has a green and a black tull layer underwards.

The dress itself is made from a stiff satin-kind of material.

And here are two pics showing my shoes. they are the same purple material as the arm cuffs I wear.

They are highly laced up, and full of studs at ther top with a bowtie at the back.

The shoes themselves are shaped like ribcages again, and the heels are very high.

They are not like the "normie" ballerina shoes but more like shoes Lady Gaga would probably wear.
There is a brain design all over them and a spine design at the back.

And now to my body.

My Ballerina self has grey skintone, mainly, but white legs.

I guess those were meant to look as white tights.
I of course would have prefered REAL white tights instead. Calaminthe told me that she would have payed more for the doll if there would have been real tights. She agrees that having white legs on me is a big minus, sadly.

You can't pull out hands and ellbows like on earlier versions also.

I am fully articulated (which means you can move my head, arms, ellbows, wrists, legs and knees) which was one of the reasons at the end why Calaminthe decided to bring me home nevertheless.

Well, and now its time to end this blogspot and practice dancing (not that its necessary, but I want to see the faces of the other ghouls when they see me as elegant as This!

Adiรณs, hinchadas!

Have a whatsoever nice weekend and week, if you can!

Muahaha!

๐Ÿ’€❤๐Ÿ’€
Moanica D'kay!

(This wasn't nice, I hope you don't care. Sorry.... Clawdeen, of course wishing you a fantastic weekend and a clawsome week as usually!)

German Carnival and Valentines Day

Arrrr! Blogmonsters - or maybe Helau?

Helau is what many germans are calling out on Carneval. Some say Alaaf. Some... something different. It depends on the region.

Yes, its carnival here this weekend, and I decided to dress myself as pirate this year.

I also finished a new costume for one of the ghouls, of course.
That is one of the things I want to show you.

But there is more.

Because on Wednesday, its also Valentines day, and this is why I also made another Valentines Fashion for one of the ghouls.

Plus: Calaminthe found the coolest doll furniture with double funktion and also ordered a dress for one of us on amazon.

Wanna see?

Okay then, lets start.

Carneval first.

I made a Funkenmariechen-costume for Operetta.

I want to try to translate or explain what a Funkenmariechen is.

She is a dancing girl in rhenish carnival.
There are many dancing guards in german carnival.

No ball, no street carnival without those.

Either there is a guard with mainly men wearing municipal gard costumes, like the Rote Funken in Cologne, which usually have one Funkenmariechen dancing girl, or you find female dancing guards, like on this YouTube-Video of the Funkengarde des AKV - Vallis comitis.

Every guard (and usually every single village and town celebrating carnival has one) has their own uniforms.

They are all different, but most of them look very much alike the one I made for Operetta.

Operetta is wearing the typical treecorne hat. Hers had been made with Fimo and a little bit glued on white faux fur. She is wearing it on her hair, styled in two beaded pigtails that are typical for Funkenmariechen.

Also she has a red jacket and matching white skirt, both with silver borders, and the jacket closed with cramps.

Under this she has a white top with white lace jabot.

Um... well, its not so easy to find a transition for the next theme now, which is valentine.

Maybe this way:

Calaminthe found a clawsome new furniture last week at  kik. It is this chaiselongue.
The colour is old rose, and it is upholstered with velvet.

The chaiselongue has two cushions that are fixed at the corner and has silver coloured feet.

And it has a double function. You can open it up and you will find a little jewellery box inside to store some of your treasures. There is even a mirror!

I don't find it on their website but you may still get it at your local kik, if you have one. There had been also a matching armchair, but Calaminthe brought home just the chaiselongue.

Look how perfect it is to pose your ghouls on it!

In this case it is Catrine deMew, and yes, she is posing in her brand boo valentines dress!

The dress was made of a pink and white vichy-checkered fabric, has a sewed on iridescent heart and white lace border.

The little accessorie highlight I created for Catrine is the fascinator with glued-on shimmering white plastic dove.

Catrine told me this dress has everything that matches Scaris. The french checkered pattern, the lace, the heart symbolizing love and the dove. I guess this means she really likes it.

Iris also has a new dress.

But hers isn't self made.

Calaminthe found it on amazon, you can find it by clicking the amazon link.

Silvi Timberwolf had been the first one trying it out, but after seeing that it fits the classic MH dolls better then the rebooted ones, she gave it to Iris.
And she really rocks the dress.

The dress is made from a stiff satin material, white with a floral pattern in pink and black.
There is black ribbon crossing the top, and it can be knotted at the neck of the doll.
There is a cute black lace border at the bottom of the skirt.

The dress fits the old dolls quite niceley. It came from China, but had been here very quickly.

The dress closes at the back with velcro, but though the velcro is sewed on properly I wish they would have used two seams for this instead of just one, then it would fit more perfectly. Also the satin material is fringing a little bit on the inside. But this is nothing that can't be fixed with a few stitches.

The stiffiness of the fabric maybe should carefully ironed over at low temperature, then the dress is really cute and nice.

And it was worth its price. Calaminthe just payed 3,19 € for it.

Maybe she will try it again and order another one.

Well, and for today we are at the end of the blogspot.

Have a fangtastic weekend!

For the Germans: Helau! Alaaf!

For everybody:
Have a nice Valentines day too and a clawsome rest of the week!

Bye for today,

REVIEW: Electrified Clawdeen Wolf

Hello Blogmonsters,

Review time again! I hope you don't mind.

But there are still some to do and who knows when it is next that our crew grows.

This time, the review is all about me.

It is the first time for me, Calaminthes Clawdeen, to have a different haircolour then just brown with a streak.

I better start the review now, because I am again a bit busy, there are a lot of other things that need to be done today (one of those is, as mostly, go on with sewing more fashion).

Today I am:

ELECTRIFIED CLAWDEEN WOLF

I really don't want to tell you more about the box. It is reviewed several times here in my blog, and it will be shown again in future.

I come in a bigger box, because I am one of the ghouls that comes with hair accessories.

Here is the artwork at the back of the box, for those who are interested, and the hint that there is a Twyla as well (which is already reviewed a while ago).

Here is everything I come with, some hair accessories and a little pet monster.

No brush, no stand, no diary.

The good thing is that most of the Electrified ghouls still have pull-out arm- and handjoints. Me too.

Here is the little electric monster that comes with me.

In the Electrified-boovie (avalable on DVD in case you didn't see it) Frankie has one, called "Znap". Maybe mine is a Znap too, but of course you can name it however you want.

IN this case, it has a colour between pink and purple and a blue face.

Here is all the extra hair accessories you will get if you buy me:

A comb, a hairclip, a spiral accessorie with wolf detail, a neon green streak on a purple scullette clip and a pink one on a black paw-shaped bow clip.

Usually I wouldn't of course wear all of them together, but here I did, so you can have another look at them.

Well, after I showed you all the extras, lets have a look at myself.

Here is me, fresh out of the box.
Rocking the howling neon 1980es retro style all of the Electrified dolls have.

My hair is long, crimped (which lets it feel very dryly) and mainly purple, but with streaks in neon pin and some in black. It is long and has a side part, but its open (but you already found out that I will come with enough hair accessories to change this).

My make-up is in neon colours as well, my eyes are highlighhted with soft pink eyeshadow and I am wearing neon green eyeshadow as well, and khayal of the same colour.

My lips of course matches the look.

My first earrings since the reboot started are spikey crescent moons in neon yellow.

And on my head I am wearing a neon green headband repeating the spikey moon, just bigger.

Here is my dress. It has a slim cut, is mainly black with a pattern of neon coloured werewolf-sratches and ends in a neon pink ruffled fishnet skirt part.

As all of the dresses, mine has a transparent plastic part as well. In this case it is neon green and goes from over one shoulder to under the other and back.

The dress is belted with a four-layered neon coloured belt that again repeats the crescent moon with spikes.

And here are my purple high heel ankle sandals. They also have the scratches pattern (that let Calaminthe remind of a normie TV series called the Flintstones, as she said. I wasn't sure if this was a compliment or not because sahe explained, the show had been stone-age themed but she told me she totally liked them).
They have spikes as well.

Well, this had been todays last picture, time to end the blog.

The doll series wasn't the latest in the stores, but I think you may still have a good chance to grab me if you want and that you nevertheless liked it.

Time to say goodbye.

I wish you a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week,

๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’œ
