REVIEWS: MH Character Encyclopedia and Electrified Silvi Timberwolf

Hello Blogmonsters,

Here is Clawdeen Wolf with 2016s last Blogspot.

I am still wearing my christmas dress, but soon after I did the blogging I will dress in my party fashion.

So - after last week I didn't have time for a spot today I have a nice one.
Its a double review:

First I will review a book, and then the latest member of our growing clique.

What did you get for Christmas?

Calaminthe got some clawsome gifts.
These are the ones she got from her friend Jianne:

A beautiful gryphon pin, a clawsome Harry Potter themed bracelet and the Monster High Character Encyclopedia.

From her parents she got a new living room chair, a lamp so we now can work better on new stuff in the evenings and a new MH doll.

From her nefew she got 2 pairs of cozy socks and exquisite self made chocolates and her sister gave to her a Harry Potter coffee mug.

Here is the front cover of the Monster High Character Encyclopedia.

It is written in english language by Eric Hardie and published by https://www.dk.com/uk/

On the top of the cover you can see that it includes more then 180 MH dolls.

Here is a picture of one of the high glossy book pages that shows my basic doll.

As you can see, the dolls are described in detail and also you can find some facts about each one of us on the pages.
The book includes most of the dolls that had been published before the 2016 reboot and Calaminthe found out that even when you are a big fan right from the beginning of the MH era you can find some surprising little facts about us while reading it you may not have known before.

The book has 5 big chapters:

Chapter 1: "We are Monster High" shows first releases of I think all Monster High characters.
Chapter 2: "Stars of the Silver Scream" is all about the dolls that have to do with the published MH movies.
Chapter 3: "Eyeconic Collections" shows some of the most furricious doll lines that came out.
Chapter 4: "Two Ghoul For School" shows some of the two-packs that came out
Chapter 5: "SDCC Exclusives" shows all the exclusive dolls that had been made as San Diego Comic Con Specials so far.

The book is an absolute must-have for every MH collector!

And now to the review of our latest crew member which is

Electrified Silvi Timberwolf

Sorry when the pictures may look a little bit different or the review may be not as detailed as usually. Calaminthe opened the box in her parents home and of course on Holy Evening there had been much more to do then "just" opening this very one box.

So - here is the front of Silvies box, the usual Reboot blister box with MH logo, name of the doll and hints of the upcoming Electrified Boovie.

The design matches the boovie look.

The boxes back shows - next to the usual infearmation - a cute artwork of Silvi Timberwolf and also little pictures of two other dolls in the line: Draculaura and Ari Hauntington.

Here is what you find when you open up the box:

Silvi pinned on a dark background with colourful spider web design.

Again this series doesn't include brush, doll stand or diary as the classic MH did.
Nevertheless I personally think the doll itself has a good quality and is woth its price.

Here is Silvi Timberwolf freed from the display.

She has the same body type as me - the reboot werewolf body.
Her skin though is silvery grey.

She has furry sculpted werewolf ears on the top of her head and wears a pair of hot pink claw-shaped earrings. Those are each pinned in two earholes.

Silvi has mainly light blue hair with some yellow and pink streaks. The hair is crimped, side parted and hold back in a huge ponytail at the back of her head by a black furry sculpted plastic hair-accessorie.

Silvies eyecolour is a light blue with a little pink and she is wearing light blue highlighter and purple eyeliner.

Her cute nose has black wolf nose detail.

Her lips are pink.

Silvi wears a one-piece dress which has three parts: a top part that is light blue again and from wet look material. The skirt part is black with neon pink, yellow and blue wolf print and the ruffle at the bottom is from a stiff, plastic like material that is translucent and neon green.

She also has a huge neon green plastic collar that is sculpted like fur. Sadly you have to hold it in place by rubber bands. When you pull those off the collar slides to the neck of the doll. It doesn't fall off but it simply also doesn't stay at its place.

silvi Timberwolf has neon yellow sandals - sorry that the close-up didn't come out niecly again. They have some studs as details and claw shaped heels.

Here is one last picture of Silvi for today together with the giant nutcracker of Calaminthes parents.

And now we are at the end of todays blogspot.
Its some hours too early to wish a happy new year to everybody.

Before it is 12 o'clock on new years eve, the germans usually wish "Guten Rutsch ins Neue Jahr" to each other which means, translated, "Good slide into the new year".

And that is what I wish to all of my readers.
Next years first blogspot will again be a review.

Time now to end and dress into party fashion!

💥💋💓🎇🎈🎊🎩

Guten Rutsch!

wishes Clawdeen Wolf
and the rest of our gang!

And Calaminthe wants to thank you for a nice blogyear!

Sewn Christmas Dresses 2016

Hello Blogmonsters,

Clawdeen here with a blogspot again.

Next week, its Holy Eve, and so there won't be one.
I think I will post one on New Years Eve instead.

Today, I have three new dresses for you.
I found clawsome christmas fabric this year.
For next year, I hope to get five more.

The dress I am wearing you ought to know from last year, this was when I started this second christmas dress line and I already did dresses for Cleo and me back then.

Here are this years new ones:

My older sister Clawdia was the first who got one.
Her dress is red, has puffy sleeves and golden borderings and was sewn from a dark red fabric with golden and green floral ornaments. The look is completed with a pair of Santa earrings and some golden bracelets.

I also found a light grey fabric with a christmas songtext and snowflake motive. First I thought of Abbey but then realized that it would look even better on Catty Noir because its a fangtastic contrast to her dark skin. Her dress has the same Tapefitty pattern as mine has, but I completed hers with a bordering of silver paillettes on the skirt and with silver disco ball earrings.

And here is Cleoleis outfit.

It is made from a dark turquise fabric with holly pattern in red and green.
On the top, I accessorily added red beads as holly berries to let the whole outfit look more glamourous and a red paillette border at the skirts bottom. Also the look is completed with a red bead headband and gingerbread man earrings.

And here are all first five looks complete.

From the left to the right you see me, Clawdia, Catty, Cleolei and Cleo.
Hahaha... all starting with a c as christmas, but this is by accident.
I chose the friends who should get the dresses by thinking of who would look the beast with the fabrics.

And this is the end of todays blogspot and now it is time to say:

Calaminthes "Clawdeens Photoblog"
wishes a
Very Merry Christmas!

Bye for today,

💝💖🎄🔔🌟 Clawdeen Wolf

Crochet Christmas Dresses 2016

Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

Here is your princess Cleo again, snuggling with cat Percy.
He is so soft.... and gladly never hurts one of us!

Well, today Clawdeen asked me again to do the Saturday blogspot and to show you the latest crochet christmas dresses she made for the ghouls who didn't have some so far.

There are nine, this year. And here they are:

Amanitas dress and hat are green with a bell at the hat top.

Iris' combo has a berry colour and also a bell.

For Mouscedes, the hat of course has holes for her ears and also a bell at the top. The combination is blueish grey.

Adda has a lighter green dress and the hat is topped by a pompom.

Ari wears a dark violet combination with a bell again.

Elles is blue and I THINK with a pompom, but I am not sure.

Isi has a dress and hat in salmon with a pompom and of course also holes for her ears.

Here is Moanica in neon yellow dress and hat with bell.

And last but not least here is Teje wearing a classic red combination with pompom hat.

So... the group shot is a little bit crowded today because there are more ghouls then the usual five.

From the top left to the right and in a circle back on the bottom to the left you see:

Ari Hauntington, Iris Clops, Teje Khepri, Isi Dawndancer, Moanica D'kay, Adda Boomslang, Amanita Nightshade, Mouscedes King and Elle Eedee.

For next week Clawdeen has planned to show you three brand boo fashions for our second line with christmas dresses which are sewn.

I hope you come back to have a look, I think they are boo-tiful!

A majestic 2nd Advent weekend and a royal week!

Bye for now,

💝💝💝

Accessorie Packs

Helloooo out there!

Surprise!

Here is Draculaura doing the Saturday blogspot!

Clawdeen and Cleo both are busy with doing stuff and so Clawdeen asked me if I would like to do the blog and I said of course I do!

And I am very exited because I have something fangtastic to show to you - at least from my own sight.

Ta-daaa! Calaminthe found the brand boo accessoirepacks yesterday and brought them home, and one of those is for me!

The other one is for Frankie so I told her if maybe she would like to model hers either and she will do so later.

Here is the front of mine how it comes out of the maul.

There is a skate and MH logo on the top, a background with some pink dresses and acessoires and spiderwebs and an artwork of Clawdeen, Frankie and myself.

there is a coffin shaped window through which you can see the items you get in the pack in front of a pink and black striped background.

And there is a black hangar on the top with a skullette.

The back of the packs looks a little bit boring, there is the usual information stuff you always find on the back of MH boxes.

Opening the packs I found out that the hangars are clips that can be opened and closed. Maybe Clawdeen can use them later, with off-cut hooks, as hair accessories or belt buckles or else. I'll save them.

And here is everything you find in my pack:

Sunglasses, skates, an I-Coffin with earphones and a belt beg.

And here is me with all the accessoiries.

So cute!

Clawdeen promised that she will design own outfits for Frankie and me to go with the boo accessorie packs. Fangtastic, isn't it?

The detail pictures are a little bite overexposed or blurry or both, but Calaminthe did her best to show them in detail.

So here are my glasses.
They are yellow and have a batwing shape.

Well, the pic of the I-Coffin really isn't good but you can see how it looks like on the pic of the complete stuff.

It is pink and the coffin has two batwings and printed on icons.
It is a little bit pity that there is no belt clip, but thats okay for me.

The earphones can be hooked into my ears like earrings.

The belt bag is black, has a zipper at the top and a batwinged ribbon at the front. It cannot be opened but you can tie it around your dolls waist.

The skates are molded onto the shoes and the wheels can't roll. The skate part is painted yellow, has stoppers and fangs in the back and the wheels have skullette designs. The boots are pink and tied up. At the top is a batwinged heart and at the bottom there is also a heart.

I am totes in love with those accessories!

Frankies pack looks the same as mine, just there is a popcorn logo at the top instead of a skate one.

And here is everything that is in her pack:

A pair of shoes,  a cinema snack and a drink and 3-D glasses.

And here is Frankie modeling her stuff. She will get a fitting outfit as well as soon as Clawdeen has time.

Here are Frankies glasses.
They are the same as in Toraleis old fashion pack, transparent with one blue and one red glass.

Here are the snacks. Both have a handle and can be hold by your doll.

The snack box is a little bit heavy though and pulls down the dolls arm so Frankie decided she would carry it on her arm instead - you know how easy her joints come off!

The snackbox is silver with something in it I would describe as red popcorn. Do you have an idea what it could be?

The drink is blue, has a molded on straw and a lightning bolt design.

And here are Frankies shoes. The heels are in design of snack boxes as well and on the sides here is a design like film material. So sorry that the picture is overexposed but you can see the details on the picture with all the accessories.

And this is the end of todays blogspot.

I hope there are not too many errors in the text.
And I hope you liked it.

Bye,

💗😍😙 Draculaura
