Slo Mo Special

Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

Here is Cleo deNile with the weekly blogspot.

Today it is time for another Ghoul Special post - this time its one of our rare Manster Specials though. For those who is new to the blog: The Ghoul or Manster specials are blogged from time to time and then one of us shows his warderobe.

The poster is up and one of those you see behind our pink couch is todays special guest.

Welcome to Sloman Mortavitch, called "Slo Mo" by his friends.
As my beastie Ghoulia whose crush Slo Mo is, he only speaks Zombie.

Good that I have learned to understand Zombie quite well.
For you, Slo Mo's speach will be translated of course.

So, Slo Mo, please tell us a little bit of you before we can have a look in your closet.

Well, you told a little bit already, Cleo. My crush is Ghoulia Yelps. Though I wish I could be as clever as she is I meanwhile know that she likes me how I am.

My freaky flaw is that I must have all the facts before I make any descisions. This may be one reason for my nickname.

But I also have good sites, of course. I am very good at maths, a champion at chess and co-captain of the MH casketball team.

And this is the truth! Nobody can beat this manster in chess - Ghoulia told me not even she!

Okay then, Slo Mo, I know you want to hang out with Ghoulia after this, so let's have a look at your warderobe.

Okay. Well, this is my "Ghoul Spirit" outfit: a purple MH logo T-Shirt, dark blue shorts and black boots. This is what I had when I came here first.

This is what I am wearing today: Its my spring clothing. It wasn't the first outfit Clawdeen made for me but it is one of my favourite ones.

The Sweater sais "spring" but the T-Shirt marker Clawdeen used faded out at the same second as she wrote onto the fabric. I like the effect though because it makes the sweater more zombie-ish, I think. I also like the checkered pants.

The first outfit Clawdeen made for me had been this one, a crochet short sleeved pullover with blue "camouflage" look and khaki pants.
Its one of my summer looks.

Um, this is my sleep wear, also chrocheted.
Its a grey shirt and grey-purple striped pants together with black slippers and sleeping mask.

Here is my second summer outfit, a pair of jeans bermudas together with a plain sleeveless black top.

For the beach, I have this khaki and purple patterned boxers and a purple towel.

My christmas outfit. Clawdeen made the same one for every manster with changing colours for hat and top - mine is in my favourite colour purple.

This is my party and gala outfit.

The purple pailette material blazer has a black collar and I wear a T-Shirt without sleeves together with it which has a high collar and sewn-on bow-tie.

The pants are black and from panne velvet.

For winter I have a dark purple crochet pullover together with purple and blue pepita pants. As accessories there are pipe cleaner ear warmers and a purple scarf.

In fall I wear something without purple - a grey striped sweater and grey linnen pants.

This is my fashion for "Schützenfest" in Olpe - the typical cap is called "Schützenkappe" and every normie and soon manster as well in Olpe wears it when its time for it.

To go with it, Clawdeen made a funny t-Shirt in white with green motive and green and white vichy chekered pants.

And this is all - more I don't have so far.

Well, I guess thats not bad though for a manster, Slo Mo!
Thank you for showing us and for the little interview.

No act. Ghoulia asked me to do it and then of course it was a pleasure.

And now we are at the end of todays blogspot and its time to say goodbye.

I wish you a majestic weekend and a royal week,

💝💋💝 Cleo deNile

Goodbye to you also!

Sloman Mortavitch.

End Of The Giveaway, Spring Clean And Nature Pictures

Hello Blogmonsters,

its time for a boo blogspot.

Its also time to spring-clean the house, so I made some more outfits for some of us to help. ONE of them, though, never would help cleaning... you'll see later.

Also I have some pictures again from a walk in the nature I did last Sunday.

But first, I want to announce the winner(s) of last weeks Giveaway.

It seems that not most of you had much interest in self-made clothing and fabric patches, but at least there had been two entries.
Thank you very much, Marcy and Kate, to enter.

I would have liked to give both something, and I decided to have a first and a second winner and the second to get a Blogshirt as well.
The rules had been to like and comment the post, and though Katie showed me in the comment that she liked it she forgot to press the like button, and Marcy did both, so Marcy is, without drewing lots this time, my first winner.
She will get Cap, Blogshirt, skirt and the 30 patches.

Kate, I pm'ed you on fb and if you want a blogshirt for your dolls, please write back.

And now to the new fashion.
I made new aprons and something to go with them for stylish working.

Here is what I made for Abbey Bominable.

She got a powder pink apron with ice cone print over a simple dress with sleeves that has a cute ice bear pattern.
Also, she got purple butterfly earrings which I made from beads.

Its more an outfit for selling icecream in summer, maybe.

Her cousin Marisol Coxi got a small apron with dots and footprint-print together with an orange batic-T-Shirt, also with a footprint-motive printed on.
And she got huge checkered pants that look more like they had stripes.

The shoes don't fit that good, maybe I should have made some different for her.

Scarah Scream likes a Retro-look so for her I made a vichy-checkered green and white dress with long sleeves under an apron with huge red retro-flowers.

Also she got a head scarf that goes with the 1960es/70es housewife look.

Luna Mothews, who likes goth looks, got a black and white striped apron over a simple black t-Shirt and pepita trousers to make a pattern-mix.

Also I made some house shoes for her because her silver gala gladiators really didn't work together with these clothes!

Nefera deNile of course NEVER would do housework. She has 10 000s of servants for this, as she told me.
Instead, her working outfit is a business suit. To delegate a task is more what she is about.

She got a yellow jersey blouse with golden fake buttons and a business suit in dark blue with pattern that gives the whole suit a very stylish look, I think.

Here are all 5 together:
Luna, Abbey, Marisol, Nefera and Scarah.

And now to the nature pictures.

They all have been shot here.

And these are the last pictures for today.

Of course I am again working on fashions for my beasties.
I don't know if I can manage to finish five more next week, but there are alternative options what to post about, so sure there will be another blogspot!

For today, I now better say goodbye and help my friends with the spring cleaning.

Have a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week!

***CLOSED!*** GIVEAWAY! ***CLOSED!*** plus spring fashion and Mini Rewiew

Hello Blogmonsters,

Its Giveaway time!

I promised you to do more giveaways and here is the first.

Also, I want to show you this years spring fashion and another Mini Calaminthe brought home.

Lets start now with the

GIVEAWAY!

Here is what you will get, and I will show you more pictures in detail:

You will get SELF-MADE BLOGFASHION - this is what you see on the stand.
Plus you will get a big package of fabric patches to sew your own MH dresses.

Of course I, what I am wearing and the stand are NOT part of the giveaway,

How will you get it?

The usual way: Like my facebook site, then also like and comment under the Blogspot-and Giveaway post. You will find it here:

I will ship worldwide and you don't have to pay shipping costs, as usually.

Lots will be drawn next Friday, Feb. the 17. 2017.
Once I post the giveaway is closed, it will be too late.
So if you have interest to win, be sure to enter early.

Any questions left?
You can contact me via comment or on fb.

And here are more detailed pictures of what you will get:

The fashion I made for you is all hand sewn. Its a bakers cap and fitting skirt from anthracite jeans material and a green batic T-Shirt with Clawdeens Photoblog logo printed on.

It will fit a mid-sized MH doll.

Here is a look at the back.

The T-Shirt doesn't have a closure. This is how I do all of my doll T-Shirts.
Its easy  to pull them over when pulling them over the feet.

Of course, if you like, you can add a press button of your own but its not necessary, this is why I don't add one myself.

The skirt has two press buttons as closure.

And here are the fabric patches.

There is brand new material from the store as well as a few pieces of recycled material.
The patches should be big enough to sew doll clothes from each one - the ones I use myself usually have sizes like that.
There are also some patches from pattern books. I love them and I often use them myself.
6 of those are chenille material that can be used for example for doll furniture or rugs.

The rest is nice for clothes.
get creative.

There will be 30 pieces of fabric this time.

End of the giveaway. ;-)

Still any questions?

Okay. Now to part two of this weeks Blogspot:

SPRING FASHION

I started the season with a spring ensemble for Moanica.

Usually I like my spring creations to look romantic.
There are tops and dresses with short sleeves and I do cardigans or jackets for chill of spring evenings.

For Moanica, "romantic" didn't seem to fit.
So I made something with pastel colours.

She got a combo of a powder pink top over (or under?) a striped skirt together with a jeans jacket.
I also made a pair of earrings for her.

Silvi got a blue big checkered dress with satin belt, a blue cardigan, a white bracelet and blue flower earrings.
This looks more romantic.

Here is Amanitas combo.

I am very happy with how this one came out.

she has a wide skirt and fitting cardigan with hyacinthe print in purple and green on a black ground. I found the material in our local fgabric store and thought it was perfect for Amanita and I was right.

Of course SHE thinks EVERYTHING looks perfect on her.

Under the skirt there is a purple petticoat and the top is the green batic material I used for the Giveaway T-Shirt.
Also Amanita got purple leaf earrings.

Personally I think Aris fashion came out the beast.

For her I made a white top over a silver three-layered skirt and a jacket in light purple with white flower print. She really looks clawesome in these!

Elle got a white checkered dress with different blue and green tones under a fitting cardigan. Elles spring outfit is simple because this ghoul likes it pure.
But she also got a boo pair of earrings.

This is the last of this years spring combinations.

Here are all five in a group shot.

From the left to the right:
Elle Eedee, Moanica D'kay, Amanita Nightshade, Silvi Timberwolf and Ari Hauntington.

Now there is only one thing left:

A little REWIEW:

This time it is a Draculaura.
She is a Mini from Series 2 and she belongs to the Geek Shriek Ghouls.

Geek Shriek Draculaura has all pink hair with a blue bow, black glasses with little pink heartsd on the frame, a pink dress with dots and a bib with a pocket and black hearts over a white blouse with collar.

She has blue leggings and black shoes with pink lace.

Draculauras eyes are closed with pink eyeshadow and she has ca tiny open laughing mouth with fangs.

And now we are at the end of todays blogspot.

Don't forget you can win something and like and comment on the facebook site.

There you can also, if you want, tell me what else you liked or disliked in this weeks blogspot.

Bye for today,

have a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week!

REWIEWS: First Day At School Lagoona Blue and 2 Season 2 Minis

Hello Blogmonsters,

here is Clawdeen Wolf with the weekly blogspot.

Today I have three Reviews for you, one big and two tiny ones.

I guess and hope that this month we will do more reviews.
Cleo and I are waiting for new updates of ourseves as well.

But today - its time for Lagoona.

Here she is:

The brand boo Basic Lagoona who is oficcially called - as I know now:

FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL LAGOONA BLUE

Here is her in the box.

The box is the same as for Frankie, Draculaura and Ari basically, but I heard the new boxes are a bit smaller.
They are clear plastic in the front and at the sides with a glued on background that looks much like the one of the old Basic dolls. The backgrounds have different colours, Lagoonas is turquise or aqua with black and a little white and yellow.
Also you can see artwork of Frankie, Draculaura and myself, Lagoonas Scullette Logo and name and the MH logo.

At the boxes back you will find a big artwork of Lagoona and four little pictures of other dolls from the First Day At School line - in this case: Draculaura, Frankie, myself and Cleo.

Also there is the usual infearmation.

As usually when Calaminthe opens the boo boxes, she damages the background display - one of the reasons why she doesn't keep the boxes anymore.

You can see that Lagoona comes with a handbag but not with further accessories like brush, stands or diaries.

Here is sweet Lagoona freed from the packaging.

She is very cute from the bottom to the tiptoes, I personally think.
There is much that is different from her old self - you will see in detail.

First day At School Lagoona has long, side parted, blonde and aqua open hair with light curls.

She is fully articulated which means you can bend her at the neck, shoulders, ellbows, wrists, upper legs and knees.

Calaminthe forgot to take a picture of her bag, its a sporty one with a shell closure and a charm that could be algaes or kelp maybe in pink. The whole bag is turquise and can be opened.

Lagoona has a blueish light green skintone and some cute freckles under her turquise big eyes, turquise eyebrows, purple eyeshadow, rouge and light pink lipstick.

Here are - or better said is - Lagoonas clothes.

Tops and bottoms are all sewn together as one part.
Good thing is you can't loose one of the things.
Bad thing is you also can't create different looks from the single parts.

This Onesie has a coral coloured top with hood and a black printed on number "13" at the front.
Selleves and lower top part look like she is wearing a second top which is white with aqua blue waves. The bottom part is shorts in turquise with black flower prints with a fishnet part that looks like a second pair of pants.

Also Lagoona has a turquise pearl bracelet.
She doesn't have earrings, sadly.

The hood can be pulled over Lagoonas head, of course.

At the bottom of the hood there is a big opening for pulling her hair through.

When you want to change Lagoonas clothes, you first have to do this and then pull the whole hood over her head to the front, then open the overall at the velcro at the back and pull the whole thing off.

Here are Lagoonas sporty turquise shoes.

I personally love that Matell gave her a pair of sneakers this time - so far she only had open shoes like sandals or the like. This pair is perfect for summer and winter.

There is a scales pattern at the shoes sides and the heels have pearl and wave details.

Here is a photo of everything this Lagoona comes with - the clothes, shoes, bracelet and opened purse.

Now old versus Reboot Lagoona.

The old one - on the left - is Scull Shores Lagoona.

You can see that there are many differences.

The colour of their hair is different - the reboot one has lighter blond hair.
The eyebrows have a different colour.

Lagoonas eyes are now much bigger and the colour has changed from green to more aqua.
The lips look different as well and also it seems that her skintone changed a bit too.

Our home is smoke free and so I just can guess that either her hair and skin HAS a different colour or that, through the years, the colours just changed a bit.

Here you can see the differences at Lagoonas body - left old, right reboot.

I really love the reboot bodies, personally. They are much more stable. There are the usual reboot differences like longer legs, wider hips, less hollow back and more stable ellbow joints.

Here is a closeup of the old and new arm and hand.

You can see that Reboot Lagoona has wider arms and better joints.
The fin on the arm changed from translucent to massive aqua and Lagoonas new hands have less webbing between the fingers, but yes - the HAVE webbing.

At the height of the arm fin is also a new scale detail on the arm which Calaminthe wasn't able to document in the picture.

You can see this better on the legs - they have now scales which is bootiful!
The leg fins can be pulled out to change Lagoonas clothes. The new fins seem to fit much more stable so that they can't get lost as easily as before. No guarantee though of course that you cannot loose them at all.
If you fear to loose fins it is maybe better to buy a non articulated legs Lagoona which has - I found out - molded on leg fins.

And now to the

MONSTER HIGH MINIS SERIES 2

For the Germans: Calaminthe found them at Müller this week.

Here is how the Seasons 2 bag looks like - sorry that it is already opened.

Here is the boo checklist, front and back.
It seems they gave up giving numbers for the series and also they are not named anymore on the list.

Calaminthe - or better I - had good luck to find two Mini Clawdeens inside the two bags she bought:

POWER GHOULS Clawdeen - sorry for the blurry picture - has a purple eye mask and body with green and black details, gloves and legs and a black belt with crescent moon.

Her hair is mainly brown with a metallic purple shimmer layered over it which looks CLAWSOME!

CHALK BOARD Clawdeen is all black with details that look like painted on with chalk - purple chalk streaks in the hair and a purple paw on her dress, yellow chalk eyes and dress borders.

I really, really love them - they are so cute!

Now I have four Clawdeen Minis and I twill try to find more - maybe four - to fill in the little white IKEA shelf I have, its perfect for the Minis.

And this had been todays last picture.

I hope you liked the reviews and recommend my blog to your friends maybe.

And I wish you a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week!

Bye for today,

💋💖💋 Clawdeen Wolf
