REVIEW: Mega Bloks Monster High Fear Squad

Hi Blogmonsters,

Yesterday I finished this years 5th fall fashion - time to show those up to you, but Calaminthe had to wait for Daylight first to take pictures of those or otherwise they would be blurry again.

But that doesn't matter because I still have something for a big review today.

The day when Ari and Draculaura arrived here there was another toy set with them I didn't mention,
and this was one of the Monster High Mega Blok sets.
Calaminthe wanted to have just one to review it and she ordered it when it was a bit cheaper and I am prowd that she ordered one with a little myself in it.

Calaminthe found all this at MyToys online.

Here is the link:

They have serveral more Megabloks MH stuff there.

Here it is:

MEGABLOKS MONSTER HIGH FEAR SQAD

You have a view at the front of the box after Calaminthe got the price tag off.
At the upper right corner there is a little plastic window so you can see the figure included to the set together with some accessores.

I don't describe it in detail because you can enlarge the pictures if you want to have a closer look.

This is the back of the box where you also can find a hint that you can connect this set to other parts of the Megabloks Monster High school sets.

After opening the box I found two plastic bags with pieces, of course the part with little Clawdeen and a description booklet.

The booklet is in the style of the Monster High diaries but much bigger.

I want to have you take a closer look at it - I was very surprised about how nice it is made.

Opening it you first find a page for writing notes down and a little poster of Megabloks Clawdeen.

Next, you have a page of the character figurines avalable in the line - or maybe a few of those - and a description how to put little Clawdeen together.

Then the detailed description of how to build the set starts. Of course I don't show every page of how to do this - the blogspot is already huge with pictures.

But following the instructions we found that its not a problem to build the fear squad later.

The instruction has 23 steps and when it ends you have another page with examples which play possibilities you may have.

Followed by a double page that shows how to add the set to the rest of the school.

The last page shows all of the parts included to the box and some further imformation.

Here is Megabloks Clawdeen in detail on her stand which is included without any accessoires.

She has long brown hair with green streaks, a fearleading dress and sports shoes.

For a litte figure she has a surprisingly detailed and nice face.

You can pull her body apart in 5 pieces without the accessoires.
This makes it possible to change out parts between her and other Megabloks MH figurines you may own and mix them together as you like.

The werewolf ears are part of the wig.

Here are the items to directly use with the little doll: two pink pompoms, a purple fur collar (I ask myself whenever I wore it with my fearleading dress but well), a white bracelet and a tiny I-connector.

These two pictures show the doll with those accessories and also a bit of the movement possibilities.

Here is the fear squad after we built it.

There are two benches, a flag and a huge scoreboard in the shape of a coffin that can be fliped around.
We really like the fear aquads design, colours and that the single bloks don't fall apart but have a good quality.

When you flip around the scoreboard you find possibilities to store some of little Clawdeens accessoires at the backsite which is a cute idea.

I really like the Megabloks playset. Cleo as well as my other friends would now love to have one as well but even though the sets are really worth their money they cost alot and Calaminthe is not sure to buy another on in the future. And sadly MyToys doesn't have the single figurines.

But if you have money, place and like to play with building blocks and also love Monster high - buy them!

This pic shows me together with my two tiny selves.
and its the last picture for today.

Next saturday I will show you the first five fall clothes - maybe.
But maybe also there could be more reviews - it depends on when more of the reboot stuff comes into the german stores and on what Calaminthe will bring home or order.

Bye for today,

Have a clawsome weekend and a fangtastic week!

REVIEW: Welcome To The Monster High Draculaura

Hi Blogmonsters,

Here is Clawdeen with the Saturday blogspot.

Another one of us decided to change her look last week.
Another one - one of my beastie-beasties, so its time for another review.

And here she is:

Draculaura from the new MH Basic line
"Welcome To The Monster High".

In the upcoming boovie she is the main character, it seems.

But now to the review:

Draculaura comes in a Blister Box with 4 clear sides. On the boxes front - the same as on Ari Hauntingtons box from the same series - you can see her logo, her name, the Monster High Logo and an artwork of Frankie, Draculaura and me.

The back of the box shows Draculauras single artwork, some facts about her and some descriptions. You also can see a picture of Frankie.

The boxes back is glued to the front of the box and when you open it this is how Draculaura is pinned on her mainly pink and black background display with school motives.

Again - the doll doesn't come with dollstand, brush and bio.

Most of these I personally miss the stands and the bio, I always loved to read those.

Here is Draculaura freed from the box, and we really, really love her boo look.

Her skin is as always light pink and her eyes are purple, she has her birthmark in the shape of a heart and as the first Basic Draculaura she again loves to style her pink streaked black hair in two pigtails.

But there are differences!

Draculauras faceup shows that her new facemold has an open smile which suits her, in my opinion, much better then her old, more serious look. Draculaura doesn't wear much Make-up around her eyes, but blush at her cheeks and a bright magenta lipstick.

Her jewellery is a black bat wing shaped jabot with blue ruffles at the front and blue earrings in the shape of little hearts with single batwings.

She is wearing a one-piece dress. The top of it is pink with black polka dots - some of those have bat wings as well. At the shoulders it has white ruffles.

The skirt is two-in one: a top part in black satin with bat wing shape and a bottom part in pink with a pattern that looks like black fischnet with pink, black bat-winged hearts and blue hearts.

She is also accessorized with a pink purse that has the shape of an ovale with batwings. It cannot be opened.

She is also wearing pink low shoes with blue boot laces. The front and the back of those shoes as well as the heels also have cute bat wing details.

Here are all of Draculauras boo clothing parts.

Now have a closer look at the differences of new (on the left) and old (on the right) Basic Draculaura.

The hairstyle is quite similar but her bangs are different. New Draculauras bangs start at the middle of her head.

They are also now curled up a bit which gives her in my opinion a little bit a 1950es kind of hairsyle.

Her eyes are wider now and their colour is much brighter, the heart birthmark now is darker and the lipstick brighter. There are also differences in how her fangs look like, the new one has two single fangs while those of the old one look like one piece.

I already showed you the difference between the two bodies but here you see them again next to each other: Left: New Draculaura and right old one.

The ellbow joints are different too and I think the hand joints are also now a tiny bit bigger.

Look at the first Reboot Review I did which was my own if you need to see them, please.

And with this picture of Draculaura which shows her during a black-out on Thursday evening next to a candle light I want to say goodbye for today.

Have a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week,

REVIEW: Welcome To Ari Hauntignton

Hi Ghouls and Mansters,

Cleo deNile here with an extra blogspot.

This photo is from a little walk in the nature that was not really worth to do more pics even though it was not bad, but there wasn't something exiting - but me, of course - to be pictured there and... Clawdeen remembers me - that this also isn't the topic of todays blogspot.

Well, okay then.

THIS is about somebody different, a boo member of our monster-clique.

She is from the new reboot Monster High Basic Line also known as "Welcome To The Monster High" line.

And here she is:

Ari Hauntington - daughter of ghosts.

On this first picture you have a view onto the front side of her box which is complete out of plastic at the front, the sides, the top and the bottom.

Of course the Monster High logo is on the front, as well as artwork of Clawdeen, Draculaura and Frankie... hm - why not me?

And also you can find Ari Hauntingtons own name and logo there.

On the boxes back is artwork of Ari and a lot of information as well as pictures of Draculaura and Frankie again - this time of the new dolls in the same line.

When opening it you have a purpled striped background, a picture of a locker and of some school items, and this is the display Ari is pinned on together with everything that comes with her which isn't too much.

Again - Ari doesn't come with a brush, a doll stand or a diary as the old basic dolls did.

But Ari Hauntington herself is worth it.

Here she is freed from the box.

Our boo friend has a shimmering, tiny bit translucent skin in white.
This time we will not show her without her clothing because we already reviewed the new body in Moanica D'Kays review already, and even though of course Ari herself is unique she has the new Monster high standard body shape.

Arms and legs are fully articulated.

Ari Hauntington has long, bright purple wavy hair without bangs which is held together in the back.

Her eyes are blue and big, she has purple eyebrows, decent make-up and bright purple lipstick.

Aris wears a purple dress with pink and black pattern those are musical notes themed. The bottom of it has a ruffled black sheer border and the top a blue harlequin collar with piano keyboard pattern.

Around her waist Ari is wearing a silver coloured belt, also with musical notes, that ends at the front in two big chains with tassels ending.

She has a bracelet in pink that looks like something drippy tranclucent pink.

Colour and material of the bracelet repeat in her boots and her bag which is a purse you cannot open with chain and tassels again and with long fringing at the bottom.

Her boots also have the chain and tassel theme.

Overall, even though I love to be in the center of everything, I must say that Ari Hauntington is an awsome looking new friend and of course Clawdeen already started to make a first outfit for her.

Well, for today we are at the end of the blogspot, I guess, and the next Review is planned for Saturday!

Have a majestic rest of the week,

byebye,

<3 Cleo de Nile

Another Sport Week

Hi Blogmonsters,

Here isClawdeen with the weekly blogspot again.

Last Sunday I made a small walk at Wildewiese near Sundern, Sauerland to try out my brand boo Sportfashion.

Here you have a better view onto that boo fashion - its my third sports outfit but my old crochet one didn't fit that good anymore since I have my new body.

This combination is a three part one: black shorts, a lime green T-Shirt with monster High motive withlout sleeves and with a lime green sports visor with tapefitty brim.

Its Nr 1 of 5 boo outfits for me and my friends and I decided that for this year those were the last five.

While photoshooting at Wildewiese I suddenly realized the biggest beetle I ever have seen in my entire unlife and it was a rhinoceros beetle.
Was that one huge! Eeeek!

Buuut enough pics from the walk, now to the other fashions I finished.
Each of them, this week, includes a visor.

This is the first fashion ever for our boo clique member Moanica D'kay.

She got an anthracite T-Shirt with brain motive printed on, lime green checkered bermudas and a yellow visor with green polka dot brim.

For my beast friend Draculaura I made boo fashion as well because we both didn't like her old crochet ones anymore that much.

Her t-Shirt is magenta with bat and heart motives printed on, combined with pink and white striped shorts and a pink visor with Tapefitty brim.

Elissabat got a purple T-Shirt with embroidered flowers, red velours leather shorts and a red visor with purple polka dot brim.

The last outfit is for Sirena. Of course for her just a T-Shirt is enough. I made a black one for her with seahorses printing and her visor is completeley with Tapefitty tape patterns.

Here is the group picture of us 5, from the left to the right Moanica, Sirena, Elissabat, Draculaura and me.

Aaand here we are at the end of todays blogspot. Possibly next week I will do two Blogspots again - Calaminthe is waiting for a package... she told me that inside there should be enough stuff to do three reviews. I can't wait it, how about you?

Have a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week,

bye,
