REVIEW: Dumbledore Mattel Doll

Hello, Wizards, Withes, Magical Creatures, Monsters, Muggles and everybody else I didn't mention!

My name is Professor Albus Percival Wolfric Brian Dumbledore, O.M. (FirstClass), Grand Sorc., D. Wiz, X.J. (sorc.), S. of Mag. Q., Defence against the dark Arts Professor, Transfiguration Professor, Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards and Chief Warlock of the Wizen Garmot.

For those who already knew, forgive me for boring you, and for those who didn't know, shortly I am

ALBUS DUMBLEDORE.

I was headmaster and teacher of many withes and wizards, some of those famous, others less. Two of those had been Harry Potter and Newt Scamander.

And this my review, and it will be shorter as introducing me to you.

Above, you can see me in the box as a muggle toy (it can't move itself without help, so its logic).

The box had been several times before, so I will not repeat it.

When you open it up, you can find me pinned like this on the background. I don't bring a brush or a doll stand, but I have different accessories that will be shown to you in detail on the following pictures.

Here you can see an action pose picture of me and everything I have after I am freed of this background.

Let us begin at the top.

I am a pale skinned old man without wrinkles with a long white plastic beard, white eyebrows, golden glasses without... well... any glass and I am wearing a purple wizard hat on my white hair.

Speaking of my hair, it is long and goes down to my back and you can brush it by using a doll brush. My wizard hat is from plastic and is dark purple with a few golden stars printed on, and as you can see, it ends pointed.

Without the hat and the glasses, you have a more detailed look at my face. And you may already have seen that my eyes are blue.

And here is my robe.

As Professor McGonagalls, it is all one part, including the brown belt with celtic design which is made from plastic, but sewn on.

The robe itself has two parts: a tunique part that is purple and silky and has a golden and purple border from the collar to the bottom and a coat part that is dark purple and made from velvet material with black collar and sleeves.

Here you can see it from the back. It is closed with velcro so you can open it up and maybe change it out against other clothing, maybe self made?

Under my robe, I am wearing a pair of black plastic boots. Those are black.

Well... um. This is how my body looks like. It is posable at the neck, shoulders, arms, wrists and has differently molded hands, one can hold a want. You also can bend my legs and knees.

And here is my wand which is a replica of the elder wand shown in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies. It has a handle so I can savely hold it when you play with me. My personal one is a little bit warped but I am sure this is not the same always.

And we are now at the end of my review, and now you can do all those funny things you planned for this weekend.

Goodbye for today,

have a magical weekend and a frolic week,

✨✨✨

Barbie Doll Fashion Pack Reviews And One Chelsie Doll Fashion

Hello Blogspotters,

My name is Peyton, and I am a first wave MTM Barbie doll.

Its two weeks ago that we posted something on this blog, but no, the blog isn't dead. Just Calaminthes PC had been last week, but now everything is fine again and we can go on.

Clawdeen planned to post doll Reviews back then, but we decided to now post those later and instead show you all the Barbie Doll Fashion Packs Calaminthe bought since march.

Let's start!

The dress I am wearing today is from a german Barbie magazine called "Kreativ Spass" (Creative Fun). I don't know if those had been - or are - avalable in other countries as well.

Calaminthe ordered this one on amazon, and there are a lot of other nice ones.

This magazin is themed Summer Ball (Sommerball).

The picture above shows you how the front of the magazine looks like when you find it in stores, with luck.

Here is the front of the magazine without the dress.

You can have a lot of fun with these mags. There is a lot of creative ideas for girls inside of it, like fashion tips, crafting ideas, colouring pages, cut-outs and diy ideas.

And then, each of the mags has a dress for your Barbie doll to wear that fits the theme of the magazine.

The summer ball mag has this pink mermaid dress.

The dress fits a normal sized Barbie doll like I am.

The main part is made from iridescent hot pink material that is very stiff. It doesn't have shoulder straps so its a bit dangerous for me to lean backward without showing too much skin, but I guess for a Fashionista it could be perfect.

The bustier is trimmed with silver and has a cute shell at the middle, and there is a darker pink fishnet part at the bottom.

The dress comes without any accessories.

Here is the second Fashion I want to show you, and its one of some newer Barbie Fashion packs you can buy in the toy stores with luck.

Here you can see Basketballer mtm Halee wearing it.

The fp includes a pink sweater with ruffled sleeve detail and a printed on butterfly, and an assymetric blue jeans skirt with printed on patches and a sewed on ribbon that says: "love laugh play", and there are also two accessories: blue sunglasses and a white clutch.

The top is a bit short for tall Halee maybe, I think it isn't belly free on normal sized Barbie dolls.

The shoes Halee is wearing are not part of the fp.

This fp we call the "tropical jumpsuit", but it doesn't have a name as far as I know.

Here you can see mtm Rose wearing it.

The jumper will look great on normal sized Barbies and also on talls. We didn't try it yet on a curvy or a petite, it may fit, but I would say it is perfect for a tall Barbie.

The jumper is perfect for the summer and blue and white striped with a pattern of leaves and red berries.

The accessories are a pink bracelet and a yellow pinapple shaped bag that cannot be opened.

Again, shoes are not included.

This fp is part of the Power Puff Girls Fashion series.

Here you can see me wearing it.

The dress has a very colourful fabric with Power Puff Girl Motives all over. It is a sumer dress with ruffled bottom that has a blue bag with rainbow motive and black sunglasses as accessories.

Sorry, no shoes again.

You can see that it fits nicely on normal sized Barbies and it could look cool on tall ones as well and maybe also on curvys.

This fp is a peanuts one.

Here you can again see tall Halee wearing it, but its a little bit tight in height on her. It will look better on normal and petit sized Barbies.

The included things are a black and white striped short jumper with Woodstock pattern all over, a sewn-on belt and ruffles at the legs.

Also part of the pack is a black necklace and a yellow bag, also with Woodstock motive.

Again, it doesn't hava shoes included.

Here is another fp Calaminthe bought for us.

Here you can see how it looks on Klara who is a normal sized Barbie doll - the Football mtm.

I think she looks a little bit lost in the dress, so she gave it to Jazz instead.

Jazz is the mtm dancer and curvy, and on her the dress looks perfect!

The dress is mainly made out ot metallic royal blue fabric, there is a huge bow in front of the bustier and the skirt part has a mesh material overlayer with black glitter polka dots that is longer in the back.

Also part of the pack are the red sunshades Jazz is wearing on her forehead - they are not translucent.
On the picture above with Klara you can see more of the red clutch in shape of lips.

Again the shoes are not part of the pack.

And this pack is part of the Superhero line.

Again it looks the best on curvy dolls like Jazz.

The pack includes a white T-Shirt with blue sleeves and a Supergirl print on the front, a black and white striped skirt, a yellow watch and a red bag in shape of a bow with a star.

Shoes are again not part of this fashion pack. We all miss them badly, and we also badly miss for which Barbie sized each outfit suits the best. One only can guess who looks the best wearing them all, and if you don't have all the four sized the outfits can just look so la-la and maybe not as great as they could if you have the right doll. Sorry, Mattel... One-Size-Fits-All simply doesn't work out nicely!

The last Fashion pack I want to show you today is a "Club Chelsea" one. Here it is.

Here it is, modeled by our Chelsie doll "Maude".

The pack includes a cute night shirt in blue with a print that shows suns, ballons and rainbows mainly, bunny shaped pink house shoes, a matching pink plastic sleeping mask, a blue blanket, a yellow tooth brush and white tooth paste as well as a "plush" pet which is a blue little dog and not plushy at all because it is made from plastic.

The shirt fits over the molded-on tops most of the Chelsea club dolls have, and I must say I love this one the most out of all the shown-before outfits because it has the most accessories and even a pair of little shoes!

We are now at the end of this weekends blogspot.

Planned for the near future are a lot of doll reviews as well as some self made clothes for the MH's.
I don't want to say what is going to be posted the next, Clawdeen decides spontanuously.

But I hope you liked todays spot and that it may inspire some of you maybe to go out to the toy stores and look for cool new doll outfits.

Goodbye for today,

have a fantastic weekend and a great week!

😄💓😊

Peyton

REVIEW: The Sylvanian Families: Tuxedo Cat Family (Calico Critters)

Hello Friends,

We are the TUXEDO CAT FAMILY.

We are part of the Sylvanian Families World, in USA you better know us as Calico Critters.

It seems that in different countrys we have also different names, and today we want to introduce ourselves as members of Calaminthes Doll household.

We know we are not "dolls" in a classical sense and also not "fashion dolls", but maybe we fit in here nevertheless. At least we are wearing fashion, so we must be more then just little animals.

As you can see, we, the Tuxedo cats, come together in a colourful little box that is bisque with stripes at the top and also has some floral ornaments around a sign that says "Sylvanian Families".

On the bottom, the box is pink, also with floral design and a sign that tells you we are the Tuxedo Cat Family. (In Germany we are called Familie Schwarzohr). Right under the word "Family" there is our serial number which is the 5181.

You also can see that we are made for children at age 3 and up, and that we are a product of EPOCH.

The boxes back shows you some "Chocolate Bunnys" and a map of the Sylvanian Families world together with some firm information.

When you open up the box you will find us placed on a cute background that shows a blooming field and a forest in the background.

Also included in the box there is a little catalougue that shows you everything else you can buy from Sylvanian Families.

And here we are, all freed from the display.

From the left to the right, in GB we are called:

Natalie, Rose, Lilly and Mason.

In Germany we would be:

Dani, Daisy, Dolly and Blacky Schwarzohr.

Since we are living in a german household, Calaminthe decided to call us by our german names.

Mother Dani is all white, just having one black ear on the right side and a black eartip on the left. She is wearing a beautiful turquise satin dress with white lace and a yellow flower.

Rose who looks just like her mom, but smaller, is wearing a pastel pink satin dress with lace and her twin sister Dolly one in blue. Dollys ears also look the same - just the opposite side.

Father Blacky is all black and has a one-part suit that is a white shirt with green tie together with grey satin trousers.

Well, here is a close-up of mother Dani, sadly it is too bright so you can't see her in detail.

But since she has a nice flocked on fur on her body she agreed to show you how she looks without her dress that velcros in the back as all the other dresses and suit as well.

Here you can see that she has joints and you can bend her at her neck, shoulders and hips.

From the back, you also can see that she even has a cat tail, as all the other family members have as well.

Well, this was a kind of short review for four family members maybe, but I thought we haver told you everything important about us.

And I hope you liked this weeks review.

Time to say goodbye for today,

have a great Sunday and a happy week.
