Winter Fashion Part 3 (Mao or Baker's Boy Caps?)

Hello Blogmonsters,

As you can see, its still deep winter here and so I continue making winter fashion for some of the ghouls.
Enough for this week and another one.

Then I will do other stuff. I'll see. This year I won't do that much spring fashion, there are just five of the ghouls who doesn't have some so far.

Valentine fashion is already done for this year, maybe I'll do more carnival costumes or begin easter fashion or some sleepwear for those who haven't so far. Enough possibilities.

Last week I asked for feedback what you may want to see and one of our loyal friends, Anja M., asked for a goth or punk line. I think this is a clawsome idea and I already sketched outfits for five of us. I think they will be done in summer and it won't be a special line but regulair summer outfits maybe.
This is because not every Monster High ghoul may want this look, but there are indeed some of us who would look great in those.

But these are plans for summer, and we still have - winter.

So lets simply start to show you the next five outfits.

My own boo fashion is one of those.

And you can see why this is all about Mao Caps. Or Baker`s Boy Caps. I am not sure how they really are called, this is what the online dictionairies told me they are called.

So - Mao caps perhaps. I started doing one and then I liked them so much that I continued doing more, and this is why some of us got one this season.

My own cap is black with leo print and a golden chain around the brim and it matches my pants.

Then I went on with a green top with high collar and a black real leather spencer jacket with golden quilt material for the collar.
I also added a pair of golden earrings that had been a gift to Calaminthe from her beast friend Jianne.

Here is a picture of the cap from the side.

This one had been the first of those caps, a jeans Mao cap for Ari Hauntington with a silver chain at the front and a black knob on the top.

And here is her whole outfit:

A dark jeans blue mohair yarn pullover, purple pants with circle or "eyes" pattern and a purple scarf to warm her neck.

And Cleo wanted to have a cap like that as well.

As you see, hers is golden and matches in colour her quilted jacket.
This is combined with a turquise top and black leggings and accessorized with golden earrings.

Here is a close-up of her cap, jacket and earrings. I think the jacket is worth the close-up as well.
And this is the last of this weeks Mao caps.

Not the last of this weeks outfits, though.

For Gooliope, I made a pair of skinny jeans, a bouclé yarn pullover (same material as her sleep wear, but I think it matches her really niceley) and a glittery dark blue hat with matching pompom on the top and scarf.

And for Iris I came up with a boucle pullover as well, this time from a white material with a touch of blue and green, added a turquise lurex beanie and fitting scarf and fine khaki corduory pants.

Here is the group shot. Which outfit do you like the beast, this week?

From the left to the right:
Ari Hauntington, Iris Clops, Cleo deNile, Gooliope Jellington and me, Clawdeen Wolf.

Well, we are at the end of this weeks blogspot.

What will you see next week?
I guess the last five of this seasons huge winter fashion series.

But who knows?

Until then, I say

Byebye,

Have a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week!

Winter Fashion 2017, Part 2 (and some extra photos)

Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

Here is Cleo deNile with the weekly blogspot.

Do we bore you maybe with showing too much of the same kind of self made fashion?
We would be sad if so, so please tell us. Comment the blogposts, please, and tell us what you would like to see here and Clawdeen will think about it and do what she can.

At the moment, we wait for boo dolls to come out to review them and meanwhile, Clawdeen goes on finishing the winter fashion line.

More characters of course always means more fashion.

Winter fashion most of the time means more pullovers, trousers, hats and scarfs, and I could imagine that it is not easy for Clawdeen still to have boo ideas who fit anyone.

Some of you comment and tell us what they do like most.
Thank you very much! 😘
You are the beast!
The others - we are thankful of course for every view we get around the world and we thank you for stopping by here and have a look. It would be more fangtastic still if you would tell us what you think of our work...

Well. After this long entrance speak, I better start showing you Clawdeens next five winter outfits.
Here they are:

Our boo friend Silvi is the first to show her winter fashion.
Clawdeen made a biting neon yellow pullover for her with fitting headband, blue pants and faux fur leg warmers and a fitting scarf. Also she got four blue hoop earrings.

Now she is a pullover twin with Frankie Stein who got one from the same material one or two winters ago.

Winter fashion though isn't ALWAYS pullovers and pants.
Operetta got also boo fashion.
Because she had a pullover combination already, Clawdeen decided to make an elegant suit for her, a classic late 1950es style swinger coat and pencil skirt combination together with a turban style headband.
Under the coat Operetta is wearing a sleeveless top in colours matching the material she used for the rest.

For Meowlody, Clawdeen came up with a combination of a simple black pullover and red pants, a black crochet hat and a faux fur vest.

Her sister Purrsephone has a similair combination, just with changed colours.
Which one do you like better?

Clawdeen also designs clothes for those who didn't really deserve it in my eyes, like Moanica.

She got a more classic combination:
A green pullover with pink stripe, a fitting hat with pompom, black jeans and an anthracite fuzzy scarf.

The trouble maker zombie ghoul thanked her by waiting behind a corner with a snowball to throw into her face...

Here is the group shot of the five brand boo outfits.
From the left to the right once again:

Silvi Timberwolf, Operetta, Moanica D'kay and the Werecat-Twins, Purrsephone and Meowlody.

Sigh... it seems we still have enough snow to finish more winter clothes.
I want some too... I know I already have some and winter is not so my thing... but on the other side fashion would brighten my winter mood alot.
Maybe I should ask Clawdeen if she makes another combination for me as well.

Okay - we are at the end of todays blogspot.

Personally I am curious what Clawdeen will come up with next weekend. More winter fashion, again, I guess, but what exactly?

Well, for today everything is said.

Byebye, blogfriends, please come back next week to see what will be posted!

I wish you a majestic weekend and a royal week,

👄💖💋  Cleo!

Winter Fashion 2017, Part 1

Hello Blogmonsters,

Here is Clawdeen Wolf with the Saturday blogspot.

As you may have seen already in the headline, I am going to show you the first five of this seasons self made winter fashion outfits.

I am still producing some, and if I am quick it will be enough for four blogspots - I already have enough for nearly three, when you count this one as well.

Okay, let's start.

Here is what I came up with for Elle Edee.

She likes metallic looks and so I came up with a blinging crochet pullover in purple, black wet look pants, a silver crochet scarf and blue earmuffs for her loudspeaker ears.

I am not so happy with her translucent shoes for this look, but so far I don't have a different pair for her.

For Amanita Nightshade I made purple pants, long enough to cover the open parts of her shoes, a green pullover with tendrils embroidery and a cap and scarf from purple "camouflage" material, also crocheted. Cap and Scarf have brushed out fringing.

My younger sister Howleen got boo winter fashion as well - her old black pullover was falling apart, her headband worn out and the crochet pants a catastrophe.

The only thing I reused for her boo fashion was the orange scarf.

Now she has a yellow pullover fitting the orange, blue and yellow checkered pants and also a blue/turquise hat that is yellow at the top because the blue yarn wasn't enough and then topped with two orange pompoms.

Outfit Nr. 4 is for Jane Boolittle.

The jungle ghoul got a turquise lourex crochet pullover and dark purple wet look pants (with snake print).
The outfit is completed by black faux fur legwarmers that cover her sandals, a dark blue crochet mohair scarf and a fitting hat with rocaille bead embroidery.

And todays last outfit belongs to Vandala Dubloons.

For her pants I found a cute jeans material with anchor print and combined those with a grey and lobster coloured striped crochet pullover.

Her scarf and cap are crocheted as well from salmon coloured yarn.
On her cap there is a purple pompom at the top and a pewter sculls-and-crossbone motive at the front that had been one of Calaminthes old earrings, one that had been broken in two parts.

Of course, as always, here is the group shot of the outfits I have shown today.

From the left to the right you see again:
Amanita, Elle, Howleen, Jane and Vandala.

We are now at the end of todays blogspot.
Next week I am going to post the next five outfits of the line.

I would be happy when you would come back to see those as well. There will always be some surprising boo ideas I have, promised.

For now, I wish you as always

A fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week!

Party on!

Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

Here is Cleo deNile with the weekend blogspot.

Clawdeen finished a lot of boo fashion for some of us.

Usually we post the party fashion before the end of a year, but this season Clawdeen made so many that I - the queen of every party - now can show you 5 more before Clawdeen starts to show some winter fashion, probably next week.

I tell you a secret: MY dress isn't new, I have it for a while. Of course I have many party dresses, one never can have enough!

But Amanita has a new dress. Best thing is - its her OWN dress this time and none she... "borrowed" from me.
Clawdeen made a sparkling one-shoulder lurex dress for her with paillette ruffle from one shoulder down to the dresses bottom.

Viperine didn't get a dress.
For her Clawdeen came up with a combination of a loose white lace top with pink satin lining that shines through and powder pink bell bottom trousers with some pink rhinestones glued on.

She also has some earrings made with beads that match her outfits colours.

Cleolei wears a golden party dress with waved bottom and a layer of fringing at the top, sewn after one of the tapefitty patterns, and is accessorized with a lot of golden bracelets and earrings.

Frankies old party dress was so damaged that Clawdeen couldn't repair it so Frankie got a brand boo one instead, a bright red halter dress made from paillette material in red and also a pair of rocaille bead earrings.

And since Honey had also problems with her old dress - the dress more looked like a simple summer dress - Clawdeen made a new one for her as well.

To be true, a combination of a black, lilac lined lace top and a black satin skirt with second layer made from lace as well.

In her hair the swamp monsters daughter wears a bead flower ornament that Calaminthe bought years ago for a belly dance costume she never made. But it looks great as a party hat for Honey!

Amanita Nightshade, Viperine Gorgon, Frankie Stein, Cleolei and Honey Swamp love their boo party dresses very much.

Which one do you like the beast?

Well, we are at the end of todays blogspot and, as I already told you, next week Clawdeen will start this years winter season with some new fashion.

Have a majestic weekend and a royal week,

💝💋 Cleo deNile

REVIEW: Electrified Twyla Boogeyman

Hello Blogmonsters,

Here is Clawdeen with the first 2017 blogspot.
and yeah, I am still a tiny bit sleepy.

Talking about sleep or maybe about dreams, I feel like I should do my next blogspot today because I have enough stuff for 3 or more weeks already without this one.

I promised you to post a review and so I do.

Here is

Electrified Twyla -
still in her box.

Sorry that all the pictures are a little bit dark.

The box, as well as that one Silvi Timberwolf came with, is a blister box with clear plastic front and cardboard back.
There is a MH logo, a holografic Electrified stroke and a hint of the upcoming Electrified DVD.
Also, it says that Twyla comes with 6 hair accessoiries.

The back of the box shows a cute artwork of Twyla, the usual infearmation and also a tiny picture of me from the same doll series.

Here is Twyla still pinned on the boxes background which is black with blue and purple spiederweb and bolt designs.

Next to Twyla you can find all the hair accessories she comes with and a pet that seems to be part of the DVD plot.

Here is a close-up of the pet. Sorry, I don't know yet what exactly they are or how it is called, but it seems to be a little electric monster.

Twylas is pink and translucent, has a face and a little bolt tie.

Here are the 5 extra hair accessories Twyla comes with - one is already in her hair.

The accessories are:
- a pink streak with a clip in shape of Twylas pet dustbunny Dustin head in purple,
- a blue streak with a pink scullette clip,
- a bow clip with dust ball design in turquise
a neon green comb with a mite design
a black spiral hair accessoirie.

Here is Twyla herself.

Her 6th hair accessorie, which she is wearing, is a big bow on her head.

Her hair is very long, and it seems to be very thick because of the crimped hairstyle.
It is mainly turquise with some purple and some decent black streaks.

She also has a pair of pink earrings that show big mites or spiders with a dreamcatcher design on their backs.

Twylas lipstick is bright pink and she wears silverish and purple eyeshadow.

Reboot Twyla also seems to have a new eyecolour: Turquise.
This is not the only difference. I'll show you later.

The eyes are big and cute and - sadly, we tried it out - don't glow in the dark anymore.

Twyla wears a huge spider web bow around her neck over a black dress with spider web design and neon coloured milts or spiders.

The dress has a two-layered skirt. The upper layer is a kind of plastic material, translucent and pink.

The sandals Twyla wears are blurry again which is meh because they are really cute.
There are little milt studs all around, a window in the heels and a lock at the ankles.

They are all over translucent turquise.

Here is a picture of everything Twyla comes with and which I had described before.

I tried out some of the hair accessories which are huge but work. Maybe you can also use them for yourself.

And now, as promised, to the differences between the old (on the left) and the reboot Twyla.

Overall I love the new bodys because they are a little bit shorter but wider, don't have such an extreme hollow back and the joints are more stable.

Twyla has the little sister body - she is shorter as the standart MH doll.
This doesn't change.

What has changed are not only the eyes, its also her dust design.
Reboot Twyla doesn't come with dusty swirls around her legs anymore.
Its a little bit pity but I personally found out that, if you dress your dolls again and again, these swirls get lost.

New Twyla just has one dusty arm, it goes up to the ellbow and a tiny bit over it you can see one swirl.
It looks a little bit like a high glove but sure the whole hand is made of dark material and you cannot scrub away the grey anymore.
The old doll had both hands dust grey and the lower arms faded, but as with the legs, this had been sprayed onto the material and could be scrubbed away by dressing the doll again and again.

Well, this is the end of todays review.
I am sure some of you will like the old Twyla better.

For us, the pro's are bigger and we love her brand boo Electrified look.

Bye for today.
