REVIEW: Boo York Boo York Luna, Mouscedes, Elle 3-Pack

Hello everybody!

We are Luna Mothews, Mouscedes King and Elle Eedee.

You might know us already from the Monster High Musical Boovie "Boo York Boo York" which came out on DVD 2015.

We came to Calaminthes home a while ago, first with our Gala dresses.

But today, we want to show you that there had been other fashion for us to wear, in a 3-Pack, and this is what we want to show you today.

Here is us, still in the box.

The boxes of the Boo York Boo York doll lines are already reviewed, so we just will have a quick view on it today. On the left side, you will find a house silhouette with the series name on it and also the MH logo.

In the middle, there is a picture of an apple that says: "Latest BFF's" in several languages and on the right, you will find artwork of us three together with a lantern that has our names on it like street names.

Under the box, next to other infearmation, you will find the hint how to pull us apart and to push us together again so that it is easy to dress us.

Like in most of the three-and-more-doll-packs, there aren't any diaries, brushes and doll stands, but you will find those together with our single versions.

I am Elle Eedee.

I am a robot, and this is how you will find me in this three pack.

I am wearing a little spencer jacket in metallic colours over a one-shoulder dress and a turquise necklace.

The dress has an electronic parts pattern and is mainly green, purple and white.

I really like clean looks, this is what my style usually is all about.

My purple boots match my robot look and have hydraulic parts at the bottom.

The complete review of me in my other fashion you will find in this blogspot:

Hi, I am Luna Mothews, daughter of the moth man.

Today, I am wearing a cute little dress with sparkling black no-halter dress, sewed-on silver belt details and a wide skirt that shows the Boo York skyline at night. Main colours are black with red, a little yellow and silver.

My style? Well, I am a goth-moth, but like some bright colours in my clothes as well sometimes.

The accessorie I come with are red moth-shaped sunglasses which I am wearing on my head, but on the second pic you see how they look when on my eyes, they give me even more facette eyes then I usually have.

And here are my black boots with buckles and cocoon-shaped heels.

A detailed review of me wearing my Gala outfit you can find here:

Hello, I am Mouscedes Kind and the daughter of the rat kink, so no - I am not a mouse!

My style is Upper-Beast-Side.

As you can see on this picture, my outfit has two parts: a top and a skirt. I am showing it from the back first so you can see how it is velcroed: The skirt has two velcros so my rat tail has space.

The top I am wearing is yellow satin with a swiss cheese pattern.

The skirt is pleaded, turquise green and has a black checkered-kind of design on it and a black belt sewn on.

My shoes are pink sandals with nut-cracker design at the heels and big bows in the back.

Here is my detailed review:

And yes, we are now at the end of todays blogspot. Please tell us what you think and if you like, share our blog with your friends, so our views rise again, hopefully.

We wish you a gore-geous Sunday and a fangtastic week,

Honey Swamp's Weather Fashion / Fall Pictures Of Our Hometown

Hello Blogmonsters,

Here's Clawdeen Wolf with another weekly blogspot.

Today, we come back to Monster High themes only.

Calaminthe took some shots of me in Weierhohl, Olpe while shopping fabric and other stuff.

We have sunny weather today, and when these pictures had been made last week, it was the same.
Just, meanwhile it's colder.

Yes, I am wearing my old crochet christmas hat already, even though it's not exactly advent and maybe a tiny bit early, but I felt that I needed some early christmas mood.

Yes, I am working on some new christmas stuff for my ghouls, all in fabrics you didn't see yet and some in fabric that I bought that day.

But first, I wanted to show you another outfit.

One that fits into fall much better then the outdoor pics I'll show you later (there are just two).

As you know, I try to give all of my family members and Monster High friends clothes and fashion for every occasion.

I especially like the "weather series", because rain clothes are very useful when you are travelling.

I try to let them be as functional as I can, and usually I use rubber material or fabric that I recycled from old, broken umbrellas.

This is what I did when designing the weather fashion for Honey Swamp, some weeks ago.

I made her a nice turquoise coloured coat from recycled umbrella material.

Honey though has this super cute afro hairstyle, and its kind of impossible to get that under a hood.

So, instead, she needed an umbrella. And I wanted one for her that it functional.
And as you can see, she has one! In the same colour as her coat, how nice is that?

Here it is, opened.

It is an umbrella I altered from a yellow lace umbreally I found on amazon. The original umbrella would have suited honey as well, but wasn't useful for rain.

Honey's coat this time has press button closure, and to cover them up, I used turquise half wax pearl ornaments though. I have to glue those on more properly though soon - they constantly fall down!

And of course I couldn't Honey just let go with only a coat and an umbrella, she needed something new for under it.
So I made her this two piece combination.

The top is made from yellow jersey with lace that has the same colour around Honeys waist, and with a cute yellow polka dotted bow. I found these in Tedi.

The skirt is simple and made from yellow and dark turquise candy striped jersey material.

Top and Skirt close in the back, as usually when I do them, with press buttons.

Well, here now is one of the pics of me in Olpe Calaminthe shot.

I am sitting on Olpe's town wall, in the background you can see the "Weierhohl" which is both a walk and a kind of park with a nice children's playground.

The piece of wall you see in the background is a door to a stair, which will lead you down there.

Here I am sitting on a wooden fence which you will find when you use that stair downwards.

In the background, there is the witchtower, the town's landmark.

And now it's time to say goodbye.

Next week, it's review time again.

Who will be reviewed this time? Well.... surprise. ;-)

Goodbye for today,

have a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week,

💚💜💚

REVIEW: Hermione Granger Mattel Doll

Hello, Blogreaders,

My name is Hermione Granger.

If you have seen the Harry Potter Movies or read the books about him by J.K. Rowling, you know who I am.

I am one of the "Golden Trio", as some Harry Potter fans call us, the three main friends in the books and the movies.

Clawdeen Wolf of MH and Calaminthe asked me to do a Review about myself today, and this I will now do.

Mattel realized me together with some other HP book characters this year (2018), and you can find us in some stores and also in the internet.

The dolls are not expensive, and we are a Playline.

Sorry that there is a date in most of the pictures I now want to show you, Calaminthe forgot to blend it out, so you now know the date when she got me in her home.

Well, let's start, and who knows me, can guess that I want to describe myself as detailed as possible.

I am:

HERMIONE GRANGER
as in
HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF ASCABAN

Here I am still in my box.

Front and side of the box are clear plastic you you can see the dolls inside.

At the right top corner there is a golden banner with my name on it and the Hogwarts school crest.

Lower on the box, you find a photograph of me as I look in the movie, played by Emma Watson.

At the bottom you will find a big banner that says "Harry Potter" and, behind it, a Hogwarts School silhouette as a cut-out from a magin newspaper design.

Here is the back of the box.

There is a Harry Potter Logo writing on top once again, together with a red Hogwarts crest, under it you will find some pictures and on the bottom some firm information.

The biggest picture shows me, again, this time as doll, with my name above.

The other pictures show the other dolls , or action figures, if you prefer, avalable in this line, together with their names and production numbers.

Those are, so far (and Calaminthe really hopes there will come out more):

Harry Potter
Ron Weasley
Ginny Weasley
Albus Dumbledore
Minerva McGonagall.

So far, Calaminthe brought home Harry, Ron and Professor McGonagall, and so you can be sure to get their reviews too some day.

Oh, btw: My production number you can find in the very bottom right corner of the boxes back.
It's FYM51.

When you open up the box, you will find me pinned on the background like this.

I come with my wand and my cloak.

there are no brushes and doll stands included to this playline.

Here is the picture of the background without me.

It's designed like a page of a Wizarding World newspaper, and on the top left corner you can find a circle with the new Wizarding World Logo.

Here I am, freed from the box.

I am 25,5 cm or 10 1/2 inches tall.

Here I am wearing my cloak.

The cloaks material is a bit stiff.
The cloak itself is black, open at the front with no closure and has a Griffindor Crest sticker on the left side (you can't see it so well on the picture, but on the one above).

Griffindor is, if you don't know, one of the four Hogwarts houses the students are sorted in, and I am part of it, as well as the other students you will find in this playline.

Here is the back of the cloak. as you can see, it has a hood which you can pull over my head.

Here is a close-up of my wand.

It is a light coloured little replica of the one I have in the movies and has a little ring at one side so I can hold it in my hands.

When you free me from the box, you will find it fixed in my hand with a translucent rubberband.
Calaminthe decided to not remove it, so I can't loose my wand as easily.

Here is my hair. It is long to the back, has bangs and nature look waves and has different colour streaks, like browns, blonds and ginger tones. It looks exactly like in the movies and is very soft.

My face is molded to look much like the actor who plays me in the movies, Emma Watson.
It has an open smile and some freckles on my nose and cheeks.

I ave thick brown eyebrows and also brown eyes.

Also I am wearing a grey sweater which is part of my Gryffindor school uniform.

It has a white sewn-on collar that would be a blouse in real life, a printed on red and yellow tie which are the colours of Gryffindor and also house coloured striped at the sweater neck and bottom.

It has velcro in the back.

The girls on Hogwarts all wear pleaded skirts like this one, made of stiff material and dark anthracite.

The skirt has also velcro to open it.

Also, the girls are wearing a pair of knee high grey socks. My shoes are black and have straps.

Here is once again what I come with:
Sweater, skirt, socks, cloak, shoes and wand.

Now to my body:

I have hands in two different positions, one to hold the wand and the other one open.

Here is a front picture of my body.

You can move my head, shoulders, ellbows, hands, hips and knees which makes me a very flexable doll or action figure.

Here is the body from the side.

And from the back.

Ginny Weasley will have the same body.

Well, I am ready, this is the end of todays review and blogspot.

I hope you will have a magical weekend and a great week,

👋

Goodbye for today,

Hermione Granger

New Blogname and Logo plus some other things

Hello Blogmonsters,

Here is Clawdeen Wolf with a weekly blogspot.

So, the blog has a new name!
And a new logo too.

Calaminthe, Cleo, some of the other fashiondolls and Cleo brainstormed how to call the blog after deciding that the others should be a part of it as well.

We came up with:

"Calaminthe's Clawdeen & Fashiondoll Friends"

So it would be both, familiar and also including Barbie and other doll friends who live in Calaminthes home.

Cleo and I are still the main bloggers, but you will find stuff of others as well, such as reviews, giveaways, self-made clothes and else.

At the moment, we still have TONS of MH stuff to tell you, but at least ONCE a month the others will get their chances as well because you might have interest in other dolls too maybe.

So, first, here is our brand new Bloglogo.

Calaminthe worked on it half a week, and here is the result:

Do you like it?

It will be on new Giveaway T-Shirts and we want to use it at our blog. At the moment, it is placed as blogheader, but seems to be a bit unluckily placed.

So maybe Calaminthe will have to shorten it or else...

We have to test it out, it seems.

How do you like it?

We wanted the Logo to be clear, but "girly". It came out very 1970es but we like the retro design - especially Calaminthes childhood Barbies who are part of this era.

Like this "Sun Loving Malibu Christie" who is one of the oldest dolls in this house. She is not wearing her original dress but one that is from that time too (The doll came out wearing a pink bikini in 1981, it seems, so she is not "really" a 70es girl).

Calaminthe has to work on Christie, she defineteley should have a bath, and the dress should be washed as well, but she still is a beauty.

There are more of these old dolls, but also some of later periods, when Calaminthe started her "Grown-up" Barbie doll collection. We will introduce them to you not all at once.

Maybe we will do Doll Specials where Cleo or I are interviewing them. (There are still some "Ghoul Specials" planned with MH dolls as well, but I want to flip between my friends and the "normie" dolls. The Specials should be a monthly part of this blog, if possible).

Of course, we want to continue showing you nature photos as well. We would love to encourage you to take your dolls out yourself whenever you go walking or on holiday trips or else. Nature, or outdoor pictures, always look great, I think.

Like these ones we shot of Gigi Grant some weeks ago on a walk in the nearby woods.
And even though Gigi is just half poseable (her arms don't have ellbow joints and her shoulders just move fore- and backwards) I think Calaminthe managed to do some nice shots with her, all very different from each other.

Gigi is wearing a fall combination I designed for her some years ago, it seems she still likes it.
Which of the pictures do you like the best?

And here is the latest outfit I have worked on.

It is new Winter Fashion for Scarah Scream.

The Main part - the jacket and the leggings - are not designed by me but by STARLIGHT SORA.
She made those to fit a pullip doll she gave to me some time ago, together with some fashion.

But Meaghan, how we called the pullip, doesn't change her outfits very often and she gave this cute white hooded plush jacket away together with those leggings.

I just designed the green top scarah wears together with jacket and leggings.

The leggings are a little bit long, so Scarah shopped them at the knees. The jacket fits almost perfectly. Just the sleeves are a teeny tiny bit long, but for winter, this is like perfect.

The jacket has an apricot coloured inlet. I am kind of jealous... it suits Scarah so nicely!

Here is Isi dawndancer, also with a new ensemble gifted to her by Calaminthes bestie JIANNE.
I THINK the outfit originally had been Bratz Meagan's, but it looks clawsome on Isi.

Todays last picture shows another of Calaminthes dolls, janay, who is a FASHION FLING doll, also in a dress gifted by Jianne. Janay loves it - there had been another identic dress in red, but JHanay prefered the purple one for herself.

The dresses are made in China, and Jianne ordered them on amazon.

Well, for today, I have to end the blog.

I hope it wasn't too chaotic. Please tell us what you think about this and that.

We want to go shopping, so I am a bit in a hurry,

So goodbye for today,

have a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week!
