Halloween Time!

Hello Blogmonsters!

Its nearly Halloween!

And so of course I am posting Halloween stuff - I made two brand boo outfits for two of the ghouls.
The picture above was made on Hohe Bracht last Sunday - me wearing fall fashion again. There is another picture which I will post at the blogs end.

So - how do you boo on Halloween?
We will sit around together here with Calaminthe, watching MH Boovies and other Halloween stuff.

And now to this years two Halloween Outfits:

Here is Nr 1 of those. We drew lots again and Marisol was the lucky one to get a boo outfit.

For her I finished a dress with wide sleeves from a boo pumpkin fabric I found, added some black lace and a purple corsage belt and made a headband from two pipecleaners.

And here is the dress I made for my beastie Draculaura.

I wanted to stay in the black, orange and purple colour scheme.

Dracs dress is all black panne velvet and has bat details at the bottom. I also made a fitting black lace petticoat and a kind of shawl or coat with bat wing shape, also lace.

Also Draculaura got some clawsome scull earrings in orange which isn't REALLY her colour, but for Halloween, I think, it looks clawsome.

And here you have a picture of us five who already have costumes.

From the left to the right me, Marisol Coxi, Abbey Bominable, Cleo deNile and Draculaura!

Well, this is all for today. I really hope to find more clawsome Halloween stuff for next year but it isn't so easy to get fabric that looks clawsome on us dolls here in town, and also Halloween merchandise that works is kind of rare. But I really hope that I will manage to do five boo outfits next year, that'd be clawsome!

Now I already have started to do christmas stuff for the ghouls who hasn't dresses yet, but of course I won't show them to you before December.
Don't worry though - I have planned and finished already enough other stuff for three weeks in November.

Okay, have a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week and
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

xxx Clawdeen Wolf!

Little spoiler:
I have two more pictures of the boo Halloween-outfits but I want to post those on Monday in Facebook as Halloween greetings.

Nefera Special

Hello Blogmonsters,

Here is Clawdeen with the weekly blogspot.

Sorry for not having much time lateley, but I am working on a ton of brand boo outfits. Some of those are already for Christmas but of course there has to be stuff I can show you before.

So I made some clawsome boo outfits for not-so-important clothing series that the ghouls will like hopefully and I am going to go on with this.

As you can see, the couch (and me) has been decorated for Halloween already.
I wanted to have a background representing todays special guest but I didn't find one, so I decided it to be neutral.

But my guest today of course can stand for herself.

May I present you the one and only

Nefera deNile,

oldest daughter of the Mummy and sister of Cleo deNile.

Hello, readers!

So, Nefera, you changed your hairstyle to one that we all know from your sister?

Well... sigh... I KIND OF did. But let me tell you the truth. Knowing me with my hair back doesn't mean I didn't wear bangs ever before. Of course I didn't wear them for a long time and I felt it was time for a change.
I have a very long unlife and so who tells you that I wasn't the first one to wear this? Its a classic ancient egypt hairdo! Also, it looks much better on me then on Cleo plus I have a different hair colour!

Yes, it suits you very niceley even though I think it looks as fangtastic on  Cleo as well!

Well, thats of course YOUR personal opinion.
But I think you asked me to do this little interview because you wanted me to show pictures of my warderobe and what you had designed for me so far?
So won't we start maybe? You know I am a very impotrant monster and of course I have to adhere other deadlines as well.

Um... of course. Okay, lets start showing pictures, then!

So, here is a picture of my classical style and as most of the folks know me.
I still love it but I also don't always want to look the same.

So this year I went to change my look to this one which also is of course an outfit, hairdo and make-up that looks like JUST made for my royal self.

And gladly, with you, I found a boo court dressmaker - even though it bothers me that you do far more clothes for Cleo then for me!

Well, she is one of my beast friends, Nefera!

And I PAY you, so would you please be so nice and do more clothes for me?

Well. This one on the picture above was the first summer dress you crocheted for me.
I like the colours you chose, the dark turquise with shimmer and the gold accents are very much like ne and the lobster colour was something that matched my shoes.

Here is my second crochet summer outfits and I like the bead details. You called it "camouflage" outfit back then but of course I am no one that needs to hide.

Here is my nightwear, a crochet nightgown and darker slippers and sleeping mask together with a salmon coloured silk dressing gown that is very compfy.

Here is my one-shoulder turquise lurex swimsuit with gold bordering together with a brown and turquise sheer pareo and headband.

This is what I am wearing today. I think this had been the first party fashion you made for me - a paillette crochet top in gold and golden fishnet harem trousers. One never can have enough gold!

This one had been an old Barbie charleston dress but though I usually don't wear OLD things its great you made something NEW out of it for me. The yellow lace and frings suits me very nieceley, of course, and I think I look much better in it then ANY Barbie would.

My fall fashion... an offwhite crochet pullover with gold collar and a black wet look skirt.

Here is my yellow christmas ensemble.

And here is my winter ensemble.
Turquise lourex crochet again on the pullover and hat, yellow crochet on the scarf and brown corduory pants.
I begin to think that MAYBE I now have enough crochet stuff and want more sewn outfits...

My spring dress is turquise with white pattern, lace at the bottom and crochet short cardigan in white with lurex.

This had been a dress that came with a pacage as a gift. It had been made for a Zombie princess but you changed it to suit me as a party dress and this one really came out niceley.

A princess of course has to do sport sometimes to hold her body as the high level as it is. I gave up fearleading but meditation and gymnastics is still something I practice of course and here is my outfit for this.

And it is the last outfit I can show you today.

Thank you for the interview and the pictures, Nefera.

We are at the end of  todays blogspot.
Make sure to be back next weekend to see some boo Halloween outfits!

I wish you a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome week!

Bye, Nefera!

REVIEW: Shriek Wrecked Catrine De Mew And The WINNER Of The Halloween Giveaway Announcement.

Hello Ghouls and Mansters!

Its my royality Cleo deNile again to to this weeks blogspot.

Clawdeen is again busy but promises to be back next week.

As you can see some of us already changed into their Halloween costumes and this fits to one part of todays blogspot which is the Halloween Giveaway winner announcement.

But I want to start with another review.

Our Catrine got a brand boo look again and of course I am going to review her.

Here is what she does look like now.

SHRIEK WRECKED CATRINE DE MEW REVIEW

Shriek Wrecked Catrine comes in a box mainly in plastic with just a cardbord display as background and some artwork at the front which is nevertheless very cute and shows Catrine and a pirate flag as well as a treasure. There is a big MH logo of course as well.

The boxes back carries the same artwork, just bigger, some information about the doll and Mattel and also little photos of Shriek Wrecked Clawdeen and Gil Webber who care also avalable.

As usually in the reboot lines, Catrine doesn't come with a doll stand, brush and diary. It would have been great to have a diary one to learn more about the Shriek Wrecked background story.

The background display shows a pirate ship deck in black, turquise and a bit yellow and some nautic items on the left corner.

Here is Catrine deboxed.

She has long hair which goes into her back and is curled up at the ends. The hair colour is her usually lavender tone, again mixed with a pink and a purple tone.

The body is the new MH standard body - just with a hole in the back for fixing her tail. I will show this detail later.

I really think that her vintage clothing style is creepy cool!

Catrine has pink eyeshadows and pink lipstick.

Here is the last version of Catrine (Ghoul Chat) next to the Shriek Wrecked one.
You can see that there are not much differences between the old and the reboot version in face. The reboot version has a tiny bit bigger and more open eyes.

And, as already mentioned, the new body type with wider arms, longer legs and less hollow back.

Shriek Wrecked Catrine wears a cute black cap with a pink bow over one ear. The bow has some cute details.
the hat is hold on her head by one of her earrings which is just a little silver stud. The other earring has the shape of a ball of wool and is also silver.

She also is accessorized with a big silver necklace in the shape of an anchor with some little mice climbing on it and two bows. One of the bows is pink.

Her so cute dress is something between sky blue and light lavender - I guess its blue - with a pattern that shows anchors, swallows and mice that hold a banner with Catrines name on a background of stars.

The neckholder ribbons are black and the bottom of the dress also has two black borders.

Catrine has a blue bag and wears blue shoes, both with pink bows again.

The bag doesn't open. The bow is also accessorized with an anchor and the handles of the bag are blue ropes.

Those blue rope motive you also can find on Catrines peeptoe shoes. There are tiny mice again climbing around the ropes. At the top in the back there is another anchor motive.

Here you can see everything Catrine comes with in detail without the doll.

We had been curious if there would be differences between how the new body types tail was.

It is exactly the same one as on the old dolls. We tried it out - you can use the old tails on the new dolls or the new tails on the old dolls.

A LITTLE EXTRA TIP:

Hm. What is this and what has it to do with MH?

Truely? Nothing. It is a tick hook you can buy to free your pets from ticks.
But its a nice tool also to use for new dolls.

You can buy this in pet shops in different sizes.

It can be a very useful tool to pull the pegs outside of your new dolls head without pulling out or cutting off the hair!

This just works when you didn't cut the pegs off before, but then it works quite nicely!

I forgot to mention: Calaminthe found again a MH Mini we didn't have and this time it is Original Lagoona which has blonde hair with turquise streaks, green skin with freckles, big green eyes with white stars in them or maybe its an anemone.

The same anemone in pink is on her turquisedress.
She has pink shoes.

Well, now to the second part of the blogspot you already may have waited for, its the announcement of the Halloween giveaway.

This time there had been twelve people who entered, more then on the giveaways before! Yay!

Of course you know the procedure from earlier giveaways and so we make it a tiny bit shorter today.

The one who is drewing lots this time is Iris Clops. her hand is already taped.

Here you can see Iris picking one of the lots. This time it was surprisingly easier because we have made the lots heavier with paper clips.

And we have a WINNER!

Congratulations to Hali Gali!

You will get the package at the beginning of November.

Would you maybe then take one or two photos for us so we can post them here or on Clawdeend fb site?

So... we are now at the end of todays blogspot.

For next week a Ghoul Special is planned but who knows what else happens this week?
We will see.

Have a majestic weekend and a royal week!

Kisses, Cleo deNile!

***CLOSED!!!*** GIVEAWAY TIME And Cleos Trip To Attendorn

Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

Here is Cleo again doing the weekly blogspot.

As often, Clawdeen doesn't have so much time so in October most of the spots are done by me.

This one is an interesting - again!

First, I start with what I guess you have waited for so long:

THE HALLOWEEN GIVEAWAY

Its a big one.
It includes everything you see on the picture and it is a giveaway for MH fans who like to craft.

- 7 MH dolls: To be honest - They are not all complete. Catty has no hands and no tail. Draculaura 1 is complete. Lagoona misses fins, forearms and hands and her hair is tacky with glue. Viperine has no hands and the ellbow joints are kind of broken. Draculaura 2 is complete but has thesame ellbow prob as Viperine. Deuce is complete. Frankie has no forearms and hands and her hair is tacky with glue. Also her eyes are wonky.
- some MH Magazin Merch - a little box and a little bag as well as a bit of MH jewellery
- a MH Mini Draculaura. We have this one as a double.
- 15 pieces of fabric: They aren't big pieces, but enough to do 1 dress or other for your dolls with them.
- a bag full of MH clothes. They will fit your old dolls. There are some old crochet clothes in the bag our Clawdeen made and also 2 original MH dresses - one for a "big sister" size doll and one for a "small sister" size doll.

Isn't this a big Giveaway?

WANNA HAVE?

All you have to do is visit our Facebook Site, like it and like the Giveaway Blogspot post. Leave a comment under this post. Share the site with your friends, but sharing is optional.

YOU WILL JUST GET WHAT YOU SEE ON THE PICTURE ABOVE. YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING COSTS.

YOU HAVE TIME UNTIL FRIDAY 14th 2016 which is next week.

So - Giveaway first. And now I have again some pictures for you of a trip I made.

This Tuesday I went to Attendorn by train.

Attendorn is an old town in our neighbourhood and there are some attractions like the wonderful Atta-Cave and the Skywalk and so on, but I didn't go there.

I started with walking through the town, shopping some small items for christmas and visit the SĂĽdsauerlandmuseum.
It is the building in the background with all those windows.

It has a nice permanent exhibition with pieces of the town history that really is woth a look, but we were not allowed to take pictures there.
But it was allowed to take pictures at the exhibition about early history they have this year. It will close on October, 23rd so I am glad I was able to see it.

I was the first visitor in the museum that day so it was not a prob to take pics at all, but sadly not all of them have good quality because parts of the exhibition were dark.

On the picture I am standing in front of a panorama with early humanoids - I think they are Australopithecus but I am not sure now.

From one window in the museum I had ca nice view down onto Attendorns market place. In the background is the church St. Johannes Baptist, here also known as Sauerländer Dom.

A very overexposed me in front of a cavebear.

A scenery with stone age people...

I liked this piece of cave art very much. Maybe it is an ancestor of Isi Dawndancer?

This is a picture of me in one of Attendorns countless alleys and lanes. Maybe not the most spooktacular ones. Attendorn is a nice town and I think its worth a visit.

I went though some shops again before going back to the station to drive home.

Well, byebye for today.
Don't forget the giveaway.

Next week I will drew lots.

Have a majestic weekend and a royal week.

Kisses, Cleo!
