Marcy Dice Fashion Top and REVIEW: Party Ghouls Rochelle Goyle

Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

Here is Cleo deNile with the weekly blogspot.

Clawdeen promised you a review and you'll get one, but first I want to show you something else:

Again Calaminthe won a photo competition in one of her MH fb groups and on Valentines day, it arrived from the USA.

It was a top, handcrafted by fangtastic Marcy Dice!
I had my hands on it immediateley and so did mummy girl Teje.

Well... at the end I decided to let her having it because it looked royal on me but was a teeny tiny itsy bitsy bit tight on me.
Because I didn't want to damage it of course I granted it to Teje at least. She is a tiny bit thinner then I am nowadays.
Don't understand me wrong, of course my body is perfect! Just not for this top. But well. I have many great fashion and Teje not so much and so I guess its okay for me.

And here it is! The bustier part of the top is pleather, the bottom part long red frings, bordered with red paillettes.

I love the crossed straps, it would have been so my thing! But it DOES look majestic on Teje as well, doesn't it?

The skirt is simple black wet look material and made by our Clawdeen so that the top still is the outstanding fashion piece.

Thank you so much, Marcy!!! It is really a worthy and bootiful gift!!! You are the beast!

💕

Okay, and now to the promised review.

Here is

PARTY GHOUL ROCHELLE GOYLE

... still in her box.

Please excuse the cat tail - Calaminthe couldn't persuade cat Percy to get out of way.

Rochelles box is the same as the one Abbey came in, of course, they are part of the same line.
Of course the pictures in the corner at the bottom show Rochelle this time.

You can find Party Ghoul Abbeys review in this post:

Here is the boxes back that shows cute artwork of Rochelle this time and the dolls you see on the bottom are Abbey and Venus.
There is also a hint that Rochelle has a Roux purse.

Here is Rochelle still pinned on her - damaged again sadly - background display.

You can see that she comes with purse and with snap on accessories.

There is no brush or doll stand included or a diary.
Personally we have enough brushes for all the ghouls but we badly miss those diaries and even more the doll stands.
On the old stands the upper parts tend to break after a while and so we have less and less.
Its a pity - its not as easy anymore to display all of us.

Well, here are Rochelles purse without snap-on accessorie and all the accessories she came with.

The purse is really cute and shows a little turquise baby gargoyle.
I wouldn't really say its Roux because Rochelles pet is a gryphon and has a beak and this one has a pig or cow snout instead. Nevertheless its cute.
You will see a picture of the purse with accessorie later, right in the box the little black bow had been pinned on it.

Also, there is a big turquise three-flowers-piece with fleurs-de-lys ornament in the middle which is perfect for Rochelle, a very cute dragon-fly piece that has the same colour as well as two of the smaller fleurs-de-lys-flower pieces. The other two are pink.

Here is Rochelle as she comes right out of her box.

On the pictures we forgot to snap in her gargoyle wings who had been added loose in the box, but don't worry, of course she comes with.

Reboot Rochelle has grey, marbled skin again and mainly pink, long, wavy hair with bangs. There is also a light aqua streak.

Rochelles new big eyes are light pink and she wears grey eyeshadow, light pink lipstick and I think light pink rouge.

On her head she has a tiara with three holes for the accessories to snap in. It is black and has a swirly design.

She also has a black belt piece with suspenders, also with a lot of holes.

She is wearing it over a one-piece party dress.
The top is turquise with powder pink ruffles and the  broomstick skirt has two layers of purple material that has a pattern showing dragonflies, fleurs-de-lys-flowers and bows in pink and turquise.

The dress is very cute but it would have been even greater if top and skirt had been seperate pieces.

Rochelles shoes are light pink, have also holes for two of the accessories and have a big fleurs-de-lys at the front. The rest of the shoes have a swirl design again.

Okay - lets accessorize Rochelle with the accessories.

I did it a different way this time: Rochelle used three of the little flowers for the headpiece and placed the big piece onto the belt. Her little gargoyle purse is also accessorized with one of the little flowers here.

On her shoes - the camera focused on the background sadly - Rochelle pinned the dragon fly and the little big bow.

She placed the accessories this way just to show you that you have endless possibilities to play around with the included parts.

And you have even more if you have Party Ghouls Abbey and Venus as well. Of course they can swap accessories.

Here is a different way to place the thingies. This way the tiara looks like a Hungarian kind of headdress - the whole fashion ansemble has an eastern ethno touch.

Here is everything Rochelle comes with.

And now its time to compare new Rochelle with the old basic Rochelle.

New Rochelles body is a bit shorter and wider. she has less hollowback and wider arms.
Her upper legs are longer.

The wings seem to be exactly the same and they also snap in the same way as on the old doll.

Here they are from the front. The differences of the bodies are more obviously from the side, I think.

New Rochelle seems to be a tiny bit taller also.

The most conspicious differences between new and old Rochelle though are the eyes.

New Rochelle has much bigger and rounder eyes with more lashes but very clean and reduced make-up.
She looks younger and thoughtful while old Rochelle has a very melancholic face.

Its a matter of taste which one you like better. I like both faces their own ways but am a fan of the reboot bodies.

And here we are at the end of todays blogspot.

To make it short:

I wish you as always a majestic weekend and a royal week.

Bye for today

😘😘😘 Cleo deNile
