Review: Photobooth Ghouls Clawdeen + Minis Cleo and Frankie

Hello Blogmonsters,

Here is Clawdeen Wolf with the weekly blogspot.

Huh... something different? Yes.
Do I have a new face? Yes!

This blogspot is all about my new self plus about two more Minis.

And I meanwhile again have so many brand boo stuff to post that I decided to do two blogspots again this week, one today and one on Wednesday.
We are waiting for a boo ghoul to join our clique and I did so many boo fashion!

Lets start with the Minis we have been able to catch last week:

Nr 1 is Cleo, Series Nr 1, and she is a common.

Mini Cleo has bright aqua blue eyes with diamond shaped lights, and of course also a diamond is on her right cheek. It has the same colour as the eyes.

Cleo has long waveless hair with bangs which is brown with some golden streaks and she wears a golden headband.

Her clothing is a yellow jumpsuit with short sleeves and some mummy wraps in turquise and some more that are just some lines on the yellow.

Mini Frankie is, as we know her, light green skinned, has a blue and a green eye and a scar on her cheek. The lights in her eyes are lightning bolts.

Her hair has the same side part hairstyle as Mini Abbeys and is white with black streaks at the front.

Frankie wears a blue dress with red belt, white collar and anthracite grey lightning bolt shaped tie that matches her anthracite shoes.

And now to the review part.

This is the front of the box you can buy my "PHOTOBOOTH GHOULS" self in.
It is full plastic at the front and the sides with some pictures that show me and friends in the photobooth clothing.
It has some hologram parts, some descriptions and a hint that a new DVD will be avalable this year.

The back of the boy shows a bigger picture of me and at the bottom two pics of Lagoona and Cleo who also are avalable in this series.
It also shows a picture of the new MH school and has a lot more information.

When you pull me out of the box this is how I am fixed on the party themed display.

Here is everything you will find in the box.
A doll and a doll mask.

Sorry - no stand and no brush at all.

Here is a pic that shows the mask.

It is lime green and shaped as a wolfs fang. The stick has a handle but its not easy for me to hold it without dropping it. A rubber band is helpful.

Though I do like the mask alot, its a fun accessorie for party fashion!

Here is a face-up (but not the only one, you'll get one more later).

Sadly I don't have earrings and I think those are a must-have. But you (or maybe your parents if you are too young) can make some holes for earrings with a hot needle if you want. For those who want: my ears have tiny marks that show where to place them.
Attention: Calaminthe later did this and its not THAT easy to do without leaving black marks on my ears.

My make-up is purple eyeshadows and coral red lipstick as well as some lime green moons around my right eye. These are decent enough that I decided they are also okay to have them every day.

My hair is brown with purple streaks, long and very soft and silky, a little wavy and styled side parted and also pulled to the back.

Here is a look at my hair from the back right after Calaminthe pulled me off the display. You can pull out the white plastic tags with pliers carefully and the pulled back hairstyle can be fixed easily.

I really love the silky quality of my hair!

Now to my fashion.

I am wearing a yellow and purple tiger striped party dress with some lime green on the yellow with some translucent material at the bottom in purple with yellow pattern which shows the lunar cycle.
At the top it has a golden crisscross and black fishnet top part.

Over it I wear a fake fake fur (yes, because its fake fur made from plastic material) stola.
Maybe I would have loved this piece better if it had been real fake fur (that sounds weird) but nevertheless it is a cute accessoire.

Here are my clawsome high heels sandals which are purple with many studs. The soles also have the fake fake fur look and the heels (I LOVE the heels!) are crescents.

A propos shoes: My old shoes still fit properly but my legs are now a bit wider so that boots now are more open at their backs which doesn't look so good anymore.

Here is a look on my seperated clothes.

By comparision:

The next pictures will show some of the differences between my old and my new self.

New self always on the left, old self on the right.

I know some of you don't like the rebooted MH dolls and so here are the comparision pictures to make it possible to you to decide if you like them or not.

We personally do.

Left: Reboot Clawdeen Face - Right: Classic Clawdeen Face

Left: Reboot Clawdeen Feet - Right: Classic Clawdeen Feet

I personally love that I now show my furry details and am what I am - a werewolf!

There are some more differences between the legs which Calaminthe didn't picture. There are differences in thickness and in length of the femoral and the shank but overall I am as tall as I always have been.

Left: Reboot Clawdeen Body and Arms - Right: Classic Clawdeen Body and Arms

The reboot body is shorter then the old one and a tiny little bit wider. Some people told me its now like the Ever After High Body, but since Calaminthe doesn't have EAH dolls I cannot say.

The arms ARE thicker, this means I will have to do tons of new bracelets but well - doing clothes is fun. Old fashion will fit new dolls, old bracelets not, sadly. And old boots... I told you already.

Also now I have fur on my arms.

Left: Reboot Clawdeen - Right: Classic Clawdeen
Hand and ellbow joints:

they changed. You can't use old hands or ellbows on new dolls but duh.
The joints are thicker now which means hopefully they will not break as easily anymore, so YAY!

Left: Reboot Clawdeen - Right: Classic Clawdeen

Body shown in profile:

As I told you. the new body is a little bit shorter.

I like it also better because - and it was not SO easy to show you this: The dolls don't have the extreme hollow-back that it had before. For me - another big YEY!

Okay, for today we are now at the end of the blogspot. As I told you - there will be another one this week, probably on Wednesday.

Until then, as usually:

Have a clawsome weekend and a fangtastic week!

Bye for today,

xxx Clawdeen Wolf xxx
