Happy Halloween 2015

Hi Blogmonsters!

Clawdeen here with a short Halloween Blogspot!

Sorry we don't have a giveaway this year, but there will sure be some in future, so have a look from time to time.

This year, I just want to show you my latest fashion creations for Halloween.

I managed to do two!

And here is Nr 1 of them. Remember that we got this withhat for Abbey not long ago?
Well, here is Abbey as "Icewitch" - I made a fitting dress for her from black panne velvet with lourex skirt part in purple. She also wears the Harumika shoes we found.
Now she is ready for some tricking and treating...

And here is Cleos Halloween costume.
She is pumpkin mummy queen, maybe.
For her I made an orange panne velvet catsuit and a furricious pumpkin pattern coat. She also got some fitting earrings and a headband in orange.

She loves how it turned out and how it is so her, even though the colours are different then what she usually likes. But doesn't she look clawsome in orange?

Um... yeah, sorry, that was everything.
We want to use the day instead watching our favourite traditional Halloween Boovies, like Ghouls rule for example!

Next week there could be some fangtastic new party fashion I show you, or pictures of some finished Tapefitty outfits.
We'll see.

Now, I wish everybody a very

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

MONSTER HIGH TAPEFITTY REVIEW - and how to make fabric clothes with the Tapefitty patterns!

Hi Blogmonsters,

Here is Clawdeen with the weekly blogspot.
Yeah, I finished all the fall fashion and before starting with some more christmas dresses I already finished some furricious party outfits for some of the ghouls.

Next week is Halloween, then the blog will be a little bit shorter - I will show you two more Halloween outfits I made this year.

For this week had been planned to show some new party fashion, but then Draculaura surprised me!

See? Here is is. The Monster High Tapefitty Playset.
I wanted to have it for so long but it had always been too expensive for me, but Draculaura was able to get it cheaper. She bought it as a gift for me to thank me doing so many clothing for her and all the others.

Aaaw, thats so clawsome. You know I love to do it, Draculaura!
Thank you so much, biestie!

Yes, this is not the latest creativity playset, but it is worth the whatever price, so if you like to make clothes for your MH dolls you maybe should go into the shops and look if you still can find it.

The set is huge and includes a model, some things you need to do the clothes, of course tape, accessoires and patterns for 15 different clothes.

There are:
2 dresses for Frankie Stein
2 dresses for Draculaura
2 dresses for Lagoona Blue
2 dresses for myself (Clawdeen Wolf)
2 dresses for Abbey Bominable
2 dresses for Cleo deNile
2 dresses for Ghoulia Yelps
1 dress for Spectra Vondergeist.

And enough accessoires and tape to do them all.

And easy-to-follow instructions. Its no problem at all to do the outfits. You'll see.

But before we started to do the first outfit for Frankie (we decided to try out the one you see on the pic) we copied the pattern to another piece of paper to save it.

We will do this with all the patterns, and maybe you should do this as well, because you can use the patterns later for fabric clothes as well. I'll show you how.

Then, follow the instructions to how to use the dispenser. It is shown which kinds of tape you need for which outfits.

Next, you follow the instructions to tape the pattern. Its easy.

Here is the finished taped pattern.

Then turn the pattern around and cut it out like shown in the instructions.

Now begin to use the translucent tape that is included to the set to tape the pieces together, also as shown.

Now you can already see how the finished piece will look like.

There are also instructions how to wrap and tape the outfits around your model.

And here we did!

Alternative, you can tape it to your doll. The outfits fit very well.

At the end, use some of the accessoires to make your outfit perfect!

Look how cute Frankie is in her new TAPEFITTY fashion!

Well, this is how you can have 15 times fun with finishing new outfits and display them on the model or on your dolls.

But there is even more fun!!!!

Remember how I told you to copy the pattern first to a different piece of paper before using is?
Now I show you why:

PART TWO:

How to make your own clothes with the tapefitty patterns!

Cut out the copied patterns as you did it with the original ones.

Then copy it again to the left side of a piece of fabric of your choice. We used a stretch material that doesn't fringe but you can use any piece of fabric you like.

Then, add some access to the parts where you taped the original patterns. There are arrows where you have to add some access. At the back of the clothes (like here on the top) you just need one more piece of acces where you should do two x'es where you later sew on press buttons or velcrow, if you prefer.

Don't cut out the triangles at the bottom! Its important.

I first made acces at both ends but you need just one. This is how the cut-out piece of fabric looks like from the bad site.

Now sew it together with needle and thread.
We begin with folding together the triangles and sewing them,

It is not neccesary in out example since our fabric doesn't fring, but go around your pattern with a stitch that saves it from fringing in case you chose pattern who does like shown. I use a buttonhole stitch.

Then, sew together the straps good site to good site.

Then, add some press buttons or velcrow if you like.

Finished!

So now you can make tons of clothes with the Tapefitty patterns for whatever doll you like that has the same size.

Don't forget to save the patterns for the next time you want to sew something for your dolls. I also saved the original instruction so I still know in the future which pattern it was.

I hope you understood the instructions and are now able to follow them. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

English is not my mothers language so maybe it is difficult for you to understand each step of the tutorial.

I wish you a fangtastic weekend and a clawsome next week!

The Rest Of Fall 2015

Hi Ghouls and Mansters,

Today it is on me, Cleo, to show you the rest of Clawdeens self made fall fashion for this season.
Everybody here now have one.
She is now working on different stuff, like maybe for example more party fashion. I ordered one more too, but she drews lots as usually which Ghoul or Manster gets new fashion first.

This is a picture of me visiting the pyramids of Galileo Park near where we live, a good opportunity to beat a little bit home sickness for me. It is a wonderful place and there are changing exhibitions from time to time. Of course those pyramids are not as huge and also not far as old as those I know, but I love this architecture very much.

So... Lorna is opening today with showing her new fall fashion. She has a mini black panne velvet dress under a tartan coat and a fitting rottish tam.

For Gigi, Clawdeen did something more marrocean looking. She also got a panne velvet dress but hers is a little bit longer and blue, a golden belt and a turquise coat with golden ornaments. I would love to wear that one myself.

Our tallest friend Gooliope got a pink striped tunique and bordeaux coloured pants.

Here are her accessoires, a pink heart necklace, red earrings and a black beanie hat.

And here is SloMo wearing his new grey pants and his grey striped pullover.

Well, and here is us 5 on a group picture - the last one for 1915. But next year maybe Clawdeen will do more fashions, if there will be new friends.

There isn't more to say now. I don't know what Clawdeen planned for next week. We will see.

Until then, everything left is to wish you as always a great weekend and fangtastic new week!

Kisses, Cleo!

Rochelle Goyle Special

Hi Blogmonsters,

Last week, I did some more clothing stuff for some friends. Two Halloween costumes, but I came back to doing fall stuff now for the ones who don't have some yet.

Today, we do another ghoul special, its about time.
Of course you have seen the headline and the poster behind me and you already know whose warderobe we will open today.

Hello, Rochelle Goyle and hello, Roux!

Bonjour, Clawdeen! Bonjour, blogreaders!

So you brought Roux here as well! And would you tell us something about you maybe before opening your warderobe and show us your fashion, please?

Oui, naturelement!

As you can see, I came back to my old look, I liked it better then the turquise lipstick and the lighter hair. Gargoyles are very traditional, but I really love fashion.

I also want to tell the people what the word Gargoyle means, s'il te plais!
You all know Gargoyles as the stone figures that are on top of old churches and some other buildings.
We defend them from evil and also some of us spit water.

A legend sais that there once had been a big water dragon who acted the same, and he was called Le Gargoulle, which means translated to bubble with water.

It was a bad dragon, but maybe he was kind of our ancestor.

Wow, very interesting, I didn't know this before! Now, Rochelle, would you show your warderobe to us please?

Avec plaisir!

'ere is my basic fashion avec earrings, headband and everything which I really love. You all know this from the webisodes and the boovies.

This is me with different make-up, hairstyle and the dress I wear today, it is my "Ghoul Chat" outfit.

So far, I don't have maul fashion or fashion packs, but Clawdeen was so friendly and made me some magnifique things.
This crochet dress 'ad been the first I ever got, it is so smooth and fashionable, a necholder dress with bubble skirt which is still one of my favourites and my summer dress.

The year after I got some bracelets that look perfect with my hair and together with that grey dress. It had been made by Skelita Calaveras who showed Clawdeen how to do this kind of jewellery before she went to live somewhere else.

'ere you see my fall fashion, a pullover and miniskirt, also crochet which I also still love very much.

Another summer fashion, also crochet, a grey one-shoulder top, a striped skirt and leggings in pink.

This is my nightgown, also grey, my favourite couleur, with turquise. I have fitting slippers and a sleeping mask.

This is my beachwear. Sorry that the picture is so blurry. It is a grey swimsuit with pink lacing and a fitting pink beachbag.

My third summer outfit. Sometimes I wear this one when doung sports also, grey shorts and a 'ot pink top. clawdeen tried out how lace looks together with crochet.

This outfit was again one for summer. At the end it turned out that the skirt was a tiny bit too short and the top much too tight, so I don't have this one anymore.

Of course I have a christmas dress with hat as well. Mine is powder pink.

And this is my winter outfit, dark green striped leggings - the first time ever I got that had been sewn - a pink crochet pullover, a scarf that fits to the leggings and a hat.

And this is my favourite one at the moment. It is my spring dress with jeans cardigan. I also got new earrings.

Well, this is all maintenant. Maybe in future I get more, Clawdeen?

Of course, Rochelle... avec plaisir, as you say.

Ooooh, french, absolument!!!

Thank you very much, Rochelle! IT was nice to have you here.

As you can see, we are now at the end of this weeks blogspot.
I am not sure what to show you next week again.

Sorry, this year will not be a Halloween giveaway, but sure we are going to do giveaways from time to time in the future.

I hope you liked this years blogspot.

Oh, and there is one thing I want to share with you:

A petition.

If you want to have Boo York Boo Yorks star Pharao as a doll,
please sign this petition and share it wherever you can. Worldwide, in all of your fb monster high groups, on twitter, in other social networks you are in and else.

We already have 386 voices (at this moment) and need just 114 more to reach 500. The more, the better.
If Mattel sees how much we all want this mummy in our homes, who knows, maybe we get one. Wouldn't it be worth a try?

Here is the link to the petition:

Now everything left is to wish you a clawsome weekend and next week!

Bye!
