Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

here is Cleo deNile again with the weekly blogspot.

Last week, Draculaura started our bug Summer Giveaway.

Its over now, and we now will announce the winner.

There had been ten people this time who entered, so it was a 1:10 chance for everybody to win.

Afterwards, we have another MH Mini who is new in Calaminthes mini clique and of course we want to show her to you.

So, lets start.

She has a white face with big black eyes and some DOTD dotted make-up around.

we couldn't find out yet if she really glows in the dark and maybe there are more patterns in her face that you cannot see at daylight.

Skelitas hair is black with an orange streak and she is wearing a blue shirt with a pink flower that has a ribcage stem over a pink skirt.

Her arms and legs are blue as well and there are bones drewn on those which SHOULD glow in the dark.

Random New Photos

Hello Ghouls and Mansters,

Here is Cleo de Nile again with a weekly blogspot.

No new fashion this week, sorry, Clawdeen told me that she is a little bit "lazy with sewing" at the moment. I would guess, though, that after sewing tons of stuff for tons of friends over the years, she is more... a little bit... burned out maybe.

Don't worry, I know she is still working on brand boo fashion, she just isn't as fast as usually at the moment.

So, what can I show you instead, then?

I could have shown you another ghoul special, but for the next one Calaminthe want to sort out some blurry pictures first and make better ones.

Then, there is time for the summer giveaway.

But its not clear if you are still interested in winning Monster high stuff still.

There is not much going on in the fandom at the moment, people loose interest in Monster High generally and sell their collections. Its such a pity.

After Clawdeen and I brainstormed a while, we decided to go on nevertheless.

At the moment, still, as usually.

In the future, we might maybe change some stuff.

Maybe we will make the blog bigger then - not just Monster High dolls, but other dolls and toys as well, maybe.

Just brainstorming, as I said. No concrete plans so far.

For today, I decided to show you a few new random photos Calaminthe shot, part for the blog, part for herself.

The first picture shows my sister Nefera and me... disliking each other...

Calaminthe did one like that years before, but it was very blurry, and because she liked it, she repeated the scene.

This may look funny to you, but I can tell you, arguing with Nefera isn't funny at all!

Ahem.

This one is a shot of Frankie Stein in one of her older summer fashions.

At the moment we all try out our old clothes to look which one still fits on our rebooted bodies and which ones don't look nice anymore.

Frankie decided that this one is still one of her favourites, even though the belt is a tiny bit small now.

Clawdeen also wants to add a pair of boo earrings to her jewellery and needs to find two tiny little nuts that match the rest. Also, the nuts bracelet is VERY tight now and Frankie needs one that is a little bit bigger.

Here is a group shot of Frankie, Draculaura, Silvie, Lagoona and Operetta all wearing older Fashionpacks.

Do you have all of them?

So far, we just miss Lagoonas swimsuit which is very rare and Deuce's sportswear as well, and most of the reboot fashion packs.

We are still hunting for those.

The dress Silvie is wearing is from the Werewolf Create A Monster Fashion pack.

Venus gave it to her because she said it suits her better. It has also some accessories and a pair of purple shoes. The shoes had been grabbed by Clawdeen already and the pink accessories, Silvie thinks, are a little bit overdressed.

I think her neon yellow Electrified shoes fit perfect together with that dress.

This time me, Ghoulia, again Draculaura in her brand boo FP, again Frankie and again Lagoona.

I am very glad the old fashion still fits. I love this fashion, but the arm and leg wraps are now VERY tight.

Ghoulia and Frankie are wearing fashions from the big Deluxe Fashion packs that came out once. Each of those pack has two fashions, and those two shown here are the ghouls fave ones.

They promised that, if Calaminthe goes on doing FP group shots, they will of course show the other half of the packs as well. Robecca and Operetta each have one of those as well.

Last but not least, here is another picture ofr me wearing those fashion, this time outside.

REVIEWS: Draculaura Fashion Pack And Monster High Diaries: Cleo

Hello Ghouls and Monsters,

Yes, today it is on a Sunday. I don`t know if Clawdeen plans to do it now on Sunday generally, I guess we will do one whenever we have the time at the weekends.

The blogging is more then just writing:

First, of course, pictures must have been taken, chosen and photoshopped a little.

Okay, here is what I have for you today.

Clawdeen is a little bit out of ideas with all the outfits she does of us, but she nevertheless works on some. Just - at the moment she isn't quick enough to make five pieces every week.

So we have to come up with something different.

This week we had good luck:

Calaminthe ordered Monster High stuff at amazon and it arrived in time for a review this weekend.

I am not so good in doing book reviews, but I'll try my biest.

I guess Ghoulia would do better.

Principally, you can find everything you need about the book if you follow the link above.

It is easy to be read even for people who don't have english as a mother language, even though of course there are some special words only used by us monsters.

The book is split in two different chapter styles:

Either you have parts that look like hand written and are what is written into a diary, followed by other parts in blockletters that tell the story between.

The book is nice to read, and children as well as grown-up fans of the MH series will have a lot of fun with it.

Also, Calaminthe ordered one of the brand boo Monster High Fashion packs.

They are not avalable here in Germany sadly and she only could find one of them.

But of course Draculaura - here wearing an older Fashion Pack - was over the top when she found out that it was for her.

Fashion and acessories are pinned on a cardboard in typically Monster High design and wrapped into a plastic bag.

There is a little scullette hangar on top of the pack.

I don't know yet how to use it but it can be opened like a press button, and if you cut off the hangar it maybe can be used later for accessorize your dolls.

Clawdeen just so far doesn't know where to use it.

The back of the Pack shows artwork of Clawdeen, Frankie and Draculaura and some infearmation.

Out of the pack, here is what you will find inside:

A cute dress that is designed clearly for Draculaura but will of course fit other monsters as well as Ever After High dolls, I guess, a pair of shoes, a bracelet, a purse and some shades.

Those shades are blue, huge and shaped like a big bow.

I think they really look cute on Draculaura.

Even though I personally have seen those shades before, it is possible that the mould of them is used earlier for another pair, maybe in a different colour.

But why not? Creating new moulds is expensive and not everybody might have had them before, as our Draculaura, and so she is very happy about them.

The collar is black and has a floral design. 

I think it is the same one as on old basic Draculaura, but that one had been pink.

The bag also had been seen before as accessorie of Fright Camera Action Draculaura.

It is pink and has the shape of a mouth with fangs with some pearl frings hanging down and a handle with a cute little bow at the top.

Here is the dress.

IT is pink with a black and white pattern that shows scullettes and floral ornaments.

It has a sewn on belt around the hips which is blue and some blue shoulder parts made out of stiff plastic material.

The back ,gladly, does have the same material as the front - Mattel tends to use plain material for the backs of fashion very often, but this time its as cute in the back as it is in the front.

The shoes are blue and have little heart shaped cut-outs in the heels and a bow in the back.

Draculaura loves the shoe design very much, and it is used kind of often, but I never have seen those pair of shoes in blue before.

Usually they are pink.

Here you see the complete outfit.

I personally think it is super cute, suits Draculaura fangtastic and is really worth buying it.

I wish there would be much more Fashion Packs.

At the end we are Fashion Dolls, aren't we?

So why not bring out much more stuff we can wear instead of bringing out the fashion on a new doll every time?

I hope Calaminthe will find more of those boo packs.

I want to have some new fashion as well, badly!
